COP11 Posted August 29, 2010 Posted August 29, 2010 Marjorie Daw (January 19, 1902 – March 18, 1979) was an American film actress of the silent era. She appeared in 68 films between 1914 and 1927. Biography Born Margaret House in Colorado Springs, Colorado, Daw began acting as a teen to support her and her younger brother after the death of their parents. Daw made her film debut in 1914 and worked steadily during the 1920s. She retired from acting after the advent of sound film. Daw was married twice; her first marriage was to director A. Edward Sutherland and produced no children. After divorcing Sutherland in 1925, she married Myron Selznick in 1929. The marriage ended in 1942. Daw died on March 18, 1979 in Huntington Beach, California. Quote
