Hi, again, everyone! I've taken a nice long break and I'm ready to start up some more entertaining competitions involving my favorite topic: SI Swimsuit models, of course! I'm hopeful that I'll have the 4th annual SI Swimsuit Model Tournament in the fall, as usual, and I plan to shorten the tournament to eliminate the group matches, going back to a more traditional tournament format. Until then, I will put together a series of "friendly" matches (to use terminology familiar to you football/soccer fans out there!) The matches will be posted in this thread, and the results will affect the overall model rankings and eventual seeds in the 2016 tournament. I've used a modified version of Elo ratings based on the models' performance in the first three tournaments. For those interested nerds like me, here's a wikipedia link to the Elo rating system: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elo_rating_system The results of these friendly matches will affect the models' ratings and will help establish better ratings for newer models like the 2016 rookie class. The matches were done via random draw after first grouping models into classes. So, nearly every one of these matches will be between models of similar rank, and that should produce many interesting matches. Enjoy, everyone!
