Vanessa_gxox Posted April 28, 2010 Posted April 28, 2010 ^ im actually REALLY annoyed that Jenny is leaving, at the beginning i liked her. she was so pretty and sweet and then as the show went on- she got more messed up. and now she is a bitch- just like blair is sometimes, but shes interesting now...and is always making drama- like her trying to break up Nate and Serena.... im not a fan of Taylor Momsen, but i like her as Jenny- she is good. Quote
Layla90 Posted April 28, 2010 Posted April 28, 2010 When I first heard the news, I was happy, cause I don't like Jenny, and she was very annoying in the first season when she wanted to be friends with Blair then she was ok when she didn't want to be popular and was over her "designer phase" let's say. Now in season 3.... I'm a few episodes away until the current ones =) haha and she's bored, like she didn't want to be the queen of Manhattan at first but she still goes to all these parties etc. but she definitely made things interesting..... not like Vanessa Abrams, she should be send away for some time btw don't you think (I'm not asking vanessaaa cause she'd be biased ) that Nate's character is better than in season 1&2? I mean, he has funny lines everytime there are scenes with him and Dan Quote
Vanessa_gxox Posted April 28, 2010 Posted April 28, 2010 ^ no . im not gonna be biased. i love chace crawford, not nate. The character of Nate really sucks, hes kinda bland and i a guy who is too nice sometimes, but i agree he was better in the first seasons, and he appears to be less and less in the current season. I think chuck is the best character because there is so much to him....he appears like a bit of a douche but infact he has many worries and stuff... and he is is really cute with blair...or should i say was .... i miss Chair . No, I meant he is better now not that much, but still.... I like scenes with him and Dan, haha. Chuck is seriously the best, I kind of can't imagine, and at the same time I wonder who would be chosen to the role of him if not Ed Westwick. He is perfect in this role and I really liked the episodes when there was a bigger focus on his personality. btw I think the episode from the 3rd season with his father was kinda creepy Chair this name always sounds funny to me. As I've said, I'm a few episodes away from the current ones, so I still haven't seen the one when they break-up (I heard about it before though). But I hope I'm gonna watch the latest episodes soon and see if "Dair" (Blair and Dan ) really happens Quote
Vanessa_gxox Posted April 28, 2010 Posted April 28, 2010 [ahahahahhahaha. oook i lied. chace is better this season. in the beginning i didnt like nate because he was too ass kissy and seemed too nice. now...he kinda has issues and stuff. i like him and serena together. Nate is one of my least favourite characters overrall though. i hated chuck at first, i thought he was sucha douche bag. but hes cool now. and i love ed . hes actually british and has a strong accent, so it shows how good an actor he is oh god if blair and dan really happen that's gonna be so messed up. Layla90 Posted April 30, 2010 Posted April 30, 2010 So Vanessa is also leaving, at least for a few episodes:For those of you who can't imagine Gossip Girl without Little J, we have another shock for you. In addition to Jenny Humphrey's much-hyped departure for an unknown number of episodes next season, Gossip Girl may also be losing another major character: Vanessa! Well, for at least a few eps, that is. Kristin from Watch with Kristin reports that GG's most down-to-earth damsel will be leaving before the end of the season to accept an international job offer at CNN.Marlo in London: What's the scoop on Vanessa and Dan on Gossip Girl?Kristen: It's not looking good long-term, sorry! I'm hearing that Vanessa will be leaving not only New York but the country before the end of the season--running off to a superfancy and superfar job with CNN. So yes, Jessica is the second female, along with Taylor Momsen's Little J, to head off into the sunset. The good news? I'm told by sources that both ladies will still be series regulars next season. As for you wondering what Little J will do that leads to her departure, I'm told "it's a culmination of lots of things Jenny does to multiple people." That doesn't sound good at all!source Quote
Wild Rose Posted April 30, 2010 Posted April 30, 2010 the last few episodes were AMAZING!!Queen B FTW!!!!!!!I have a crush on Nate.. Quote
Layla90 Posted May 1, 2010 Posted May 1, 2010 I think this season (the episodes) got better after Hilary Duff left I mean, this season's best episodes are the ones after Olivia left, don't you think? Like, since the Thanksgiving one on. And the threesome was so lame, haha! Quote
Vanessa_gxox Posted May 2, 2010 Posted May 2, 2010 The lastest episode wasn't very good Like Jenny and Nate may have hooked up...and everyone was like oh my i swear nate has dated EVERY girl in the series. Serena? yes. Blair? yes Vanessa? yes & Jenny? yes haha next he is gonna date lily van der woodsen Quote
Layla90 Posted May 3, 2010 Posted May 3, 2010 vanessaaa, are you aware of the fact that actually, there was a rumour of Kelly Rutherford and Chace Crawford being seen together, flirting? that's a total lie imo.... well, but there are much more rumours about Chace being gay, sooo...... And the last episode was "The unblairable lightness of being", right? If so, then it means that I finally caught up with the show gosh, so much happened there.... like, you could see Vanya and Dorota being happy and getting married, while: Lily/Rufus, Chuck/Blair, Nate/Serena, Dan/Vanessa all having problems with their relationships... wait, now thinking about it, every wedding episode on GG had a sad background relationship story, hadn't it? I know, Nate is such a male whore of this show 3 episodes till the end of the season... your thoughts? As I've said before, I think the episodes after Hilary Duff left were the best ones of the season. First ones.... meh. And maybe that's good they don't really show college life, I mean, people from there aren't like the ones from Constance-Penelope, NELLY YUKI, Hazel, Kati, Isabel etc.... and yeah, I really liked episodes 17 and 18, so much going on! I'm wondering what direction will be chosen for season 4 at first I wasn't sure about making season 4 a good idea (after watching the first few episodes from season 3) but now it got better, I think it would be a shame if they stopped with "Last tango, then Paris" episode. I wonder if there will be season 5.... But no more, I don't want this show to go on for 10 years, that would totally kill it but then again.... maybe Cyrus Rose would say "not enough!" Quote
Layla90 Posted May 3, 2010 Posted May 3, 2010 Oh and can somebody solve a mystery about Waldorf's apartment in season 3? I mean, Blair lived there/in the dorms/Empire Hotel, but there are a few episodes where you can see Nate and Serena randomly meeting up there and one of them always says: "I knew I'm gonna find you here". Sometimes it feels like they spend more time there than Blair and Eleanor Quote
Limerlight Posted May 3, 2010 Posted May 3, 2010 Layla's got me watching the show now Just watched Episode one from Season one. Love seeing Blair (Leighton) in Little Clothing Quote
Layla90 Posted May 20, 2010 Posted May 20, 2010 Wow, season 3 finale was so crazy!! Gosh! But at the same time, it was the show's best finale, I think. Though I have to say that the last scene with Chuck was weird, starting with that I thought he was shot in his stomach, and then you could see it was his arm that was bleeding. At this point, I see no point of Chuck and Blair being back together, again. We know Bass is an ass but come on...this is too much! Quote
Layla90 Posted May 20, 2010 Posted May 20, 2010 Ok, so Chuck isn't dead in season 4, but... he has new identity?!?!Not that we're surprised, but the Gossip Girl press release unveiled at the CW network's upfront presentation for Season 4 seems to confirm that Ed Westwick's character lives.Despite being in peril in Prague as the Season 3 finale drew to a close, it looks like Chuck Bass will recover in time to fight another season. In Europe, no less. Excited yet?!The circumstances surrounding his return are intriguing, and a little unexpected, to say the least. Here's the CW's first tease for what we can expect in the 2010-11 season ..."Season Four will open with a radiant Serena and Blair enjoying their grand, romantic summer in Paris ... until Chuck mysteriously arrives in town with a new girlfriend and a new identity.""Blair swore off Chuck forever but will this changed man woo Blair into having a change of heart, or will Queen B set her sights on ruling Columbia University? And as for that baby ... ?"New girlfriend? New identity?source; gossipgirlinsider.comI'm just wondering who will play his new gf, but I do not want Blair to be back with Chuck. She was hurt by him way too many times. Quote
Layla90 Posted July 30, 2010 Posted July 30, 2010 Wow, just 1,5 month left until 13th September, when season 4 starts! I have to say I am very excied for it, even more than just after season 3 finale lol. I was so happy when I saw photos of Amanda Setton on set, meaning Penelope is back! Somehow, I am disappoined for Chuck's new gf character. I mean, I don't really know Clemence Poesy (who plays Eva, Chuck's French gf in season 4) but originally they wanted to cast a brunette actress for his role, and Clemence is blonde and we all know that Chuck likes "brunettes, with deep brown eyes" so I am a bit disappoined but maybe she'll be very good in her role? Who would you like to see back in season 4 anyway? I liked Willa Holland as Agnes, but I doubt they'll get her back this season, even if it would be for 1 episode only... Quote
Leigh A. Gillette Posted August 2, 2010 Posted August 2, 2010 I was so shocked at the end of the season with Georgina coming back. Do you guys believe Georgie is pregnant with Dan's baby? Quote
