She was discovered by Yves Saint Laurent.  After working as a model (she did almost every Chanel show between 1991-97), she was employed by Karl Lagerfeld as a designer at Chanel (1998-2005) and then moved on to head Chanel's PR in India (2005-2018).  She has a bachelor degree in Arts from International Economics (University of Mumbai).
