Kaitlyn Rainbow was born and raised in Brisbane, Australia and upon graduating from a Bachelor of Nursing and working in cancer care, she has moved into modelling full-time. She is deeply passionate about educating others and working towards body autonomy and health advocacy. She feels as she is blessed to be able to do this through both in the medical field as well as the creative industry. Growing up in a family of strong, curvy women, her figure has always been celebrated and Kaitlyn feel a sense of responsibility to share this with others; to encourage confidence and genuine love for their bodies and themselves. Her passion for curve representation and the body positive movement has pushed the industry forward in terms of size diversity, being featured in several major advertising productions for national and globally recognized brands such as Skims, H&M, Mecca Beauty, Lululemon, Triumph and Meshki.

 

When scouted, Kaitlyn was working in cancer-care as a Registered Nurse and has gone on to become a prominent model within the Australian scene with industry recognition and global attention.

Euphoria, I mean - aren’t we all watching? the makeup, the fashion - how could you not?

Born and raised in Brisbane, Australia. 

Where do you live now?: 

Still here in Brisbane!!

Favourite TLC piece?: 

My first ever TLC piece was the Avalon Smock Dress in black gingham (which has been worn to death!), but I think these new overalls are going to take top place soon.

Best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?: 

My dad always says ‘how do you eat an elephant? one bite at a time’ - which usually drives me absolutely crazy because I'm stressed out in that moment. But it resonates with me every single time. 

What are your words to live by?: 

The relationship you have with yourself is going to outlast all others, and will be with you for the rest of you life. I think that puts into perspective the importance of self-care and prioritising our own needs.
