avadakedavra Posted March 10, 2006 Posted March 10, 2006 Calgary got a shut out last night and the only goal was scored by Amonte. Quote
babranski Posted March 13, 2006 Posted March 13, 2006 Canes got Mark Recchi to replace Erik Cole . . . Carolina has dumped three straight <_<, we only need one more win to break a franchise record. Quote

avadakedavra Posted March 13, 2006 Posted March 13, 2006 Mark in anything but a philly jersey is really weird to me. Quote
babranski Posted March 13, 2006 Posted March 13, 2006 He nearly scored in only his second game with the 'Canes in the second game of that weird 2 nights in a row at Florida series. Just missed his stick and went to Dougie Weight, who ended up scoring his first goal with the 'Canes Somehow, after dropping three straight, were still in the lead for the Presidents cup . . . Quote

babranski Posted March 28, 2006 Posted March 28, 2006 I love games like that 'Canes won a nail-biter last night to get 100pnts, woo hoo! I watched that 'Canuks / Kings came last night, it was close for a while, then the 'Canuks just pulled away Quote
babranski Posted April 1, 2006 Posted April 1, 2006 Yay! 'Canes clinched the SouthEast last night, they will have Home advantage through atleast the first two rounds, most likely 3, because they are 10 points ahead of the NY Rangers. Quote
acmilan Posted April 13, 2006 Posted April 13, 2006 Can't the Leafs just die and stop winning They lost both games to Montreal 3 weeks ago which they needed, and ever since than they can't stop winning but they're still 5 points out of a playoff spot They should just start losing so you get a better draft pick On a bright note though the Leafs backup goalie, JS Aubin has been awsome since they been starting him, and Sundin had 4 goals and 2 assists last game  Quote
EvilOtto Posted April 13, 2006 Posted April 13, 2006 the leafs have tough games coming up, they face new york islanders, then ottawa, then buffalo Quote
acmilan Posted April 13, 2006 Posted April 13, 2006 the leafs have tough games coming up, they face new york islanders, then ottawa, then buffalo They have to win the rest of their games for them to have a chance at the playoffs, and since they've been awful against Ottawa they pretty much have no chance to make it to th playoffs EvilOtto are you a Canuck fan? Quote
avadakedavra Posted April 13, 2006 Posted April 13, 2006 Avery was kicked off the Kings yesterday morning. From what I've heard he had a shouting match with the assistant couch and was basically told that the team would be continuing on without him. I would pay serious money to know what the heck he said. Coyotes are getting a management change. Again. One of the owners is handing his shares over to one of the others (so they're going from three down to Wayne and this dude) and the guy is bringing in a corporate lawyer to handle "day-to-day" operations. Doesn't have any hockey background at all, so THAT should be interesting. Flames are playing Colorado tonight? I think. They're supposed to clinch their spot in the playoffs tonight. Quote
EvilOtto Posted April 14, 2006 Posted April 14, 2006 the leafs have tough games coming up, they face new york islanders, then ottawa, then buffalo They have to win the rest of their games for them to have a chance at the playoffs, and since they've been awful against Ottawa they pretty much have no chance to make it to th playoffs EvilOtto are you a Canuck fan? Ya i am, they are sitting right now in 9th place with 90 points . The western conference is tough and the standings are tight. Quote
EvilOtto Posted April 14, 2006 Posted April 14, 2006 I also like the leafs, i cheer on any Canadian team Quote
acmilan Posted April 14, 2006 Posted April 14, 2006 I also like the leafs, i cheer on any Canadian team Same here, except Ottawa Canucks are pretty much eliminated after that loss to San Jose The Leafs will join them soon, but they won again tonight  Why couldn't they play like this the whole year :persuazn: Calgary got a shut out Kiprusoff has been awsome this year Quote
acmilan Posted April 16, 2006 Posted April 16, 2006 Leafs destroyed Ottawa but still got eliminated from the playoffs Quote
EvilOtto Posted April 18, 2006 Posted April 18, 2006 the next thing to see in the eastern conference is if ottawa can get top spot or carolina can manage to keep it also crosby got 100 points yesterday Quote
acmilan Posted April 20, 2006 Posted April 20, 2006 Leafs fired Quinn today They should have fired Ferguson too <_< Looks like Maurice will be coaching the Leafs next year Crosby got 100 but Ovechkin will still win the Rookie of the year Quote
avadakedavra Posted April 22, 2006 Posted April 22, 2006 Playsoffs have officially begun. :hell yea!: Quote
