BAGGOT Posted October 4, 2021 Posted October 4, 2021 Back in the day...man, she was something in those earlier shoots. She's still beautiful, and I hope her life is more together. Felt very bad for her the past few years. Quote
Fallenstar Posted October 4, 2021 Posted October 4, 2021 Thought some of those screen caps might making interesting wallpapers only to find these lurking in a forgotten folder Quote
TheDude2k Posted October 5, 2021 Posted October 5, 2021 These flashback posts of Erin's VS shoots, video captures, and wallpapers are a testament to how uniquely beautiful she was in her prime. A perfect combination of beauty, sexiness, cuteness, and a "Bubley" 😉 personality is why she remains one of my favorites models. Had Erin not succumb to the pressures of the modeling industry coupled with some bad financial decisions, and had she surrounded herself with a good support structure in NYC, she could have had a longer and more flourishing modeling career like some of her peers at VS and SI. However, I'm glad to see her looking healthy and happy in her new life pursuits. Just wish she would be more active on her IG; the best way for her fans to keep up with her. Quote
Deniz Berdan Posted October 5, 2021 Posted October 5, 2021 I totally agree with you @TheDude2k, Erin Heather Bubley in her prime is probably the most beautiful woman that has ever lived in this world. She would probably make Aphrodite jealous, if they both lived in the same era. Erin has made some bad decisions her life, but who didn't?... Quote
SympathysSilhouette Posted October 5, 2021 Posted October 5, 2021 But she was done with the modeling industry when she first quit. Like totally done and tired of it. So possibly her prime was relatively short because of the mental toll? Quote

So possibly her prime was relatively short because of the mental toll? Yeah, hindsight is always 20/20. I'm sure there are not-so-glamourous aspects in modeling and the associated pressures that come with staying at the top of your game and staying in top shape, especially from the VS standards in that era. Sometimes it's harder to sustain than it is to get to the the top. Glad Erin didn't fall into the trap of doing hard drugs and alcohol abuse, which I bet she was exposed to a lot going to all the social events that she may have been contractual obligated to attend. It appears she did dabble in the chronic, which you could tell in some of her interviews she did with Dan Patrick in the latter part of her career. Quote
stewpidaz Posted October 5, 2021 Posted October 5, 2021 Whether she dabbled in the chronic or not is really not a big deal. Y'all gotta stop perpetuating this thing that because she had a bad showing on the Dan Patrick show it means she was drunk or high. Honestly Dan Patrick himself put on a terrible interview with her. Most of her responses seemed pretty reasonable to me for the horribly unplanned questions she was getting. Quote
TheDude2k Posted October 5, 2021 Posted October 5, 2021 No one is asserting that it was a big deal. Only Erin knows whether or not it had a significant impact on her life and career. There's a difference between making judgments and making observations, of which my comments were the latter. And I'm not saying I'm right either, I'm just providing some commentary along with the picture posts and a perspective about the stages of her career, early on, later on, and now. The good news for all of us as fans of hers is that Erin appears to be at peace with where she's at now doing what makes her happy. To each their own. Quote
stewpidaz Posted October 6, 2021 Posted October 6, 2021 You were making observations that have negative implications about her character (arguably libelous). I even rewatched that interview to see if I feel the same way I did before about it. I liked Dan Patrick when I used to watch his show but that interview was extremely unfair to her, it actually upsets me that people interpret that as a bad interview on her part and not the part of the interviewer, and that people assume she must have showed up to an interview drunk/high (I'm not saying you're the only one, surely if this had an effect on her career others also thought so). She could have been, but I didn't see anything to suggest that. I thought that could just be her demeanor. Anyway it's good if she's found something she enjoys more because I think the most plausible explanation of why she lost modelling work is because she didn't enjoy it. Quote
TheDude2k Posted October 6, 2021 Posted October 6, 2021 Quite the contrary. If I were to imply anything, it's that Erin went through trials and tribulations in her modelling career and came out of it stronger, which shows her character and resiliency in a good light. I'm a sucker for comeback stories, which makes me admire Erin even more, beyond her natural beauty. As far as her Dan Patrick interviews, if my memory serves me right, I think she had a total of 3 over the years and I could tell a difference between her first two interviews and her last one. She was glowing in the first two and in the last one she seemed under the influence of something, which I speculate to have been the chronic (I've seen my share of friends when they are high as a kite 🤣). If you see Erin in her recent interview on Coffee with Colin (I posted it here around this time last year) you can tell she's got her glow back, which is awesome. You're certainly entitled to your opinion and interpretation, so I appreciate the civil discourse. It's actually kind of refreshing to have a dialogue among fellow Erin fans and BZ members in addition to the picture posts. Cheers! 🍻 Quote
vatras Posted October 6, 2021 Posted October 6, 2021 Some more. As you can see, I am in the process of doing some screens of this Story of Candice video. The Quality unfortunately is not very good, but some screens are usable. Since I have to look trough 90k Pics, this is a very time consuming Task, but I wanted to share the first half of the pics with you. I will post the rest once I am done, and if you guys are interested. Quote
vatras Posted October 6, 2021 Posted October 6, 2021 Second part. Not as much Erin scenes in it unfortunately. Quote
TheDude2k Posted October 7, 2021 Posted October 7, 2021 Thanks @vatras. For a "Story of Candice", it sure has a lot of Erin in it (and I'm not complaining!). BTW, I spotted two that weren't Erin: Quote
