billarruda Posted August 5, 2008 Posted August 5, 2008 Thanks again Kar, they're beautiful. I love in particular the last one from Paris Match. Quote
630redhead Posted August 5, 2008 Posted August 5, 2008 Wow, Kar! Great stuff!!! I agree with Bill - the Paris Match magazine is terrific! Is there an article in the Femme magazine? If there is, I'd love if you would post it - I do fairly well reading in French. Quote
Xuxa Posted August 5, 2008 Posted August 5, 2008 Hello to everybody! Now it's my turn to show some pics of my collection. The first one is one of the my favourite Estee Lauder's pics. It belongs to "A gift for you" brochure in 1990. The rest of them are also pics from "A gift for you" brochures. I hope you like them. Quote
miss Posted August 5, 2008 Posted August 5, 2008 thanks Xuxa beautiful collection you have - I love them all She has a amazing face . . . . . . Quote
630redhead Posted August 6, 2008 Posted August 6, 2008 Xuxa - WOW - those are BEAUTIFUL!!! I'm so happy to see new Estee Lauder pictures I haven't seen before. Thank you so much for sharing. I look forward to seeing more of your amazing collection. Quote
630redhead Posted August 6, 2008 Posted August 6, 2008 From a recent ebay auction that I did not win ...the seller was kind enough to e-mail me this picture - I'd never seen it before ____________________________________________________________ small Quote
630redhead Posted August 6, 2008 Posted August 6, 2008 Since we have some new people here - does anyone have high quality (HQ) scans of any of these ads/brochures I'm looking for? The whole ad is preferable, if possible. If not, just the picture would also be great! Quote
kar Posted August 6, 2008 Posted August 6, 2008 Ooooh, many thanks Xuxa for that wonderful new pictures. For Red, the article in Femme magazine has nothing to do with Paulina, it talks about how to stay young by making lifting, that's why I didn't scan it. From Madame Figaro 1986 From ELLE France sept 1,1981. I'm not sure it is Paulina on the last photo, what do you think ? Quote
billarruda Posted August 6, 2008 Posted August 6, 2008 Many thanks Kar, I love her early pics like the Elle Fr ones. Quote
630redhead Posted August 6, 2008 Posted August 6, 2008 Thank you Kar, for the information on Femme. I was hoping the article was about Paulina. Oh well. And that last picture in that Elle France editorial does not have Paulina's face, but it is a continuation of the picture before it (see Paulina's leg on the left in that last picture) Quote
Xuxa Posted August 6, 2008 Posted August 6, 2008 Hello! Thank you for your compliments. I also need your help in order to find some pics.I'm looking 3 ads which were published in New York Times Magazine. The questios is: Is this magazine the same that the Sunday magazine? I bought all the Sept.88' New york Times magazine issues and the ad wasn't there.Do you know where I can find them? I think this pic appeared in a French Marie Claire: Quote
Xuxa Posted August 6, 2008 Posted August 6, 2008 Now I'm going to show you the jewels of my collection. A very nice E.L. customer service agent sent me these pics when Paulina finished her contract. They are not from a magazine, It's the authentic Kodak paper with a small explanation how to print and the product that is made for. They are numbered. I hope you understand me because it's a bit difficult to explain it in other language. When I received in 1995, I was shocked for several days. Quote
billarruda Posted August 6, 2008 Posted August 6, 2008 Thanks a lot xuxa, some of them are totally new to me. And this is pure perfection! Quote
kar Posted August 7, 2008 Posted August 7, 2008 I think this pic appeared in a French Marie Claire: Marvellous photos Xuxa, it'sreally a treasure. Thanks for sharing them. I have the ad Perfect Lipstick. It is from 1990 but no idea where I have found it. May be in a french Marie-Claire as you said because in the 80's I took a lot of Estée Lauder ads in Marie-Claire. kalaudia Posted August 7, 2008 Posted August 7, 2008 Hi All,So great to have xuxa's pictures on the internet now. Xuxa contacted me some four or five years ago and was generous enough to send me wonderful scans of everything Estee Lauder that she had compiled and gave me permission to put them up on my Paulina Webarchive. Unfortunately, I could never put this into practice so it's perfect that we have Bellzon. Quote
kalaudia Posted August 7, 2008 Posted August 7, 2008 Here's hi-res scans of the Lauder ads Red and Xuxa are looking for. The first is from Marie-Claire and I include the cover view that you find when you turn the page over. With the other one I cannot be of any help. I once received it in a random clippings pack. Quote
