EngSciNaGirl Posted April 17, 2016 Posted April 17, 2016 I like the scrawny guy ....he knows the business Quote
Stromboli1 Posted April 17, 2016 Posted April 17, 2016 Stormbringer that was very interesting take on the Ace of Spades, it was good nonetheless. Quote
Stormbringer Posted May 5, 2016 Posted May 5, 2016 Something new and this time original: This is a song I wrote back in early 2007 and though I recorded it at the time it was very bad quality, both in sound as an interpretation. So I recorded it again and this is the result: The song is called El Infierno Emerge or "Hell Emerges" in English I recorded bass, guitars and vocals and I did the drum track with a virtual instrument. I hope you like it!! Quote
Stromboli1 Posted May 5, 2016 Posted May 5, 2016 Awesome dude! I love the song and guitar riffs. Very early Metallica esque. Your vocals remind me of young a James Hetfield, Dave Mustaine, and someone else I can't think of right now. Quote
Stormbringer Posted May 10, 2016 Posted May 10, 2016 Something new once again. But old too though a little less than the previous one: I wrote this one between late December 2007 and early January 2008 Australis This is the one that had me suffering with the guitar solos.... And of all my songs this where is by far easier to spot the main influence Quote
Stromboli1 Posted May 13, 2016 Posted May 13, 2016 Your axe work for this song is amazing! Good vocals too. I like the double bass drums too. Quote
Stormbringer Posted May 13, 2016 Posted May 13, 2016 I'm considering recording again some vocal parts though and upload it again... Not sure yet. Quote
Stormbringer Posted May 17, 2016 Posted May 17, 2016 ^ And I did: Here it is the improved version. I also added some backing vocals towards the end of the song to give more dynamism to the arrangement. AUSTRALIS Quote
Stormbringer Posted June 3, 2016 Posted June 3, 2016 Now I present you a Heavy Rock version of Supermassive Black Hole, original by Muse I hope you like it!! Quote
Shepherd Posted June 3, 2016 Posted June 3, 2016 Great vocals on this one. I always forget to ask, do you perform live? Quote
Stormbringer Posted June 3, 2016 Posted June 3, 2016 ^ Thanks! Yes, but I haven't in a while. I'll come back to it once I got my new album ready. Hopefully soon. The two original songs I posted above were played live several times. Quote
Stormbringer Posted June 27, 2016 Posted June 27, 2016 Something new! Some Chilean Heavy Rock this time. I'm covering again a song by Mandrácula. This time Estoy Llegando Muy Cerca (something like "I'm Getting Much Closer") I hope you like it! And feel free to share it if you want. Quote
Stormbringer Posted July 18, 2016 Posted July 18, 2016 Another new one! Some Grunge this time with Rooster, original by Alice In Chains I hope you like it! Feel free to share it if you want! Quote
Stormbringer Posted August 1, 2016 Posted August 1, 2016 And more Grunge: Wicked Garden by Stone Temple Pilots Quote
Stormbringer Posted August 8, 2016 Posted August 8, 2016 Now me and my clones present you a Beatles cover of a song with some deep lyrics Why Don't We Do It In The Road? In a Heavy Rock version. I hope you like it! Share it if you do Quote
Stormbringer Posted August 23, 2016 Posted August 23, 2016 Something new! We're going the Thrash Metal route this time with Metallica and one of my favorite songs by them, which also has one of my favorite guitar solos ever: RIDE THE LIGHTNING: I hope you like it, and feel free to share it! Quote
Stormbringer Posted October 10, 2016 Posted October 10, 2016 No clones for once: This an acoustic piece by Led Zeppelin, which uses an alternate tuning for the guitar. Something Jimmy Page would do quite often. This is Bron-Yr-Aur I hope you like it! And feel free to share it! Quote
