Lindsay & Paris: The Cat Fight Continues

The claws came out at night when the young stars clashed at a nightclub. This time Diddy was there!

Friendlier times: Lindsay Lohan and Paris Hilton used to party together before their friendship turned sour.

It was a scene straight out of Mean Girls in New York City on Friday night, when Lindsay Lohan and Paris Hilton clashed -- very publicly -- at a private concert by superstar Prince. While stars like Jay-Z, Beyonce, Jade Jagger, Petra Nemcova, Brian Grazer and Diddy chilled at downtown hotspot Butter, Lindsay and Paris were the real show. During the set, Lindsay reportedly "followed Paris to the bathroom," a witness told the New York Daily News. There the two stars reportedly "had a huge fight."

Ever since Paris's ex, Stavros Niarchos, was spotted hanging out with Lindsay, the heiress has been furious. Tension between the two former friends intensified after Paris laughed while oil heir Brandon Davis made extremely lewd comments about Lindsay. The whole thing was captured on camera at an L.A. club.

But the drama didn't stop once Lindsay left the bathroom. The 19-year-old star returned to her table to find that Diddy had joined her group. She turned to him and jokingly asked what he was doing at her table. According to the Daily News, Diddy "didn't realize she was joking and then he yelled at her and told her to get out." Another source claimed that Diddy was "really mean to her" and that one of his bodyguards lifted her up out of her seat. When a friend of Lindsay's got into an argument with the hip-hop mogul and she was eventually "moved out of the booth" by bouncers, the paper reports. Outside of the club, Lindsay complained about the incident to Butter owners Scott Sartiano and Richie Akiva and apparently demanded that Diddy be removed.

But Lindsay didn't wait to see if her demands were met. She and her posse moved on to Aer and Bungalow 8, only to bump into Paris -- again. According to a source, "Paris was at one table and Lindsay at another. There was kind of a standoff who was going to leave first."

Although reps for Lohan and Combs have not commented on the situation, Hilton's rep, Elliot Mintz denied that Hilton ever entered Bungalow 8 that night. He did, however, confirm that, "Paris was in the [butter] ladies room applying her makeup when Lindsay knocked on the door. But there was no battle. Paris has nothing negative to say about Lindsay."

John Lewis's managing director, Charlie Mayfield, has returned his rival's serve by signing up 27-year-old Czech beauty Petra Nemcova.

"They've just finished shooting the campaign, which was done on a 400-metre cliff in Chamonix," I'm told. "Petra looks absolutely stunning, and John Lewis is expecting sales to soar when the adverts go up in mid-September."
