MattLoveModels Posted August 19, 2010 Posted August 19, 2010 Celtics def need a bigman. Perkins is gonna be out for half the season. Shaq will fill in fine. now there's talks about Sheed coming back too Quote
eNe Posted August 27, 2010 Posted August 27, 2010 IMO adding Shaq definitely helps the C's. People forget that Shaq was the reigning All-Star game MVP before joining the Cavs. Sure his production/role won't be as big as it once was, but it gives them a great low-post threat. If Sheed comes back, they still have 1 more bullet to shoot IMO. Miami and Orlando are the frontrunners though. Can't believe what a great job Miami did filling the roster spots. Miller, House, Big Z are all solid. And they'll have a superstar on the court for the whole game everytime (besides blowouts). Playoffs is different though. Magic, and Boston can cause them big time trouble. In fact if Vince has an injury free season, I'd put them a step ahead of Miami.Lakers on the other hand addressed their weaknesses with on-point transfers. Steve Blake is an improvement over Fish, and Matt Barnes gives them more defensive versatility. BTW do people remember what happened the last time Magic played the Lakers?Epic win by Kobe @2:15.And you know when Barnes was sold out to join the Lakers. He told that it was when Kobe texted to him this line:"Anybody mad enough to mess with me, is mad enough to play with me" Quote
MattLoveModels Posted September 27, 2010 Posted September 27, 2010 Training camps are starting up, the season is not too far. So, everyone wants the Heat to not succeed right? Quote
SympathysSilhouette Posted September 28, 2010 Posted September 28, 2010 For all the hype, the Heat would be screwed if one of their big three is out for any serious amount of time. That's a very thin roster once you get passed Bosh, Wade and LeBron. Quote
MattLoveModels Posted December 22, 2010 Posted December 22, 2010 Anyone notice how the old teams are the best this year? and how about Russel Westbrook and Derek Rose. They learned to shoot and are pretty much unstoppable now. Quote
MattLoveModels Posted December 22, 2010 Posted December 22, 2010 wow, looks like Oden could turn out being a bust Quote
SympathysSilhouette Posted December 23, 2010 Posted December 23, 2010 Oden over Durant will be remembered as a worse mistake than Bowie over Jordan. Bowie played 540 NBA games, scored 5500+ points, grabbed 3800+ rebounds and dished out 1000+ assists. Greg Oden's current totals: 88 games, 800+ points, 600+ rebounds, 50 assists. I'll be very surprised if he ever makes it to Bowie's totals. Quote
MattLoveModels Posted January 4, 2011 Posted January 4, 2011 Blake Griffin is a beast. Averaging 22 and 12. The only rookie who put up better numbers their rookie season was Shaq. If this kid doesn't kill himself (not literally) the sky is the limit for him. He goes all out on his dunks. It's scary sometimes when he gets fouled. He goes down hard. Hopefully he'll attract some talent and the Clips can finally do something. on another rookie note, Evan Turner is having his struggles with us He shows flashes though and I think he's gonna be a star one day, I really do. I don't see us making it through this season without trading Iguodala. I wonder who we can get for him. oh and Jrue Holiday, future all star PG, no doubt. Future is bright in philly. Quote
SympathysSilhouette Posted January 5, 2011 Posted January 5, 2011 Blake Griffin is with a cursed franchise. Combine that with his fearless, reckless way of playing and the odds of him not injuring himself are not good... Quote
MattLoveModels Posted January 20, 2011 Posted January 20, 2011 ^ that deal fell throughSixers lost to the Magic tonight 99-98 due to 2 phantom 4 POINT PLAYS in the last 5 minutes. god hates the sixers. :| Quote
MattLoveModels Posted January 30, 2011 Posted January 30, 2011 Clippers have won 8 straight home games, the longest streak in almost 20 years and they're playing winning basketball. Maybe Blake can turn them around. and with that the Sixers blew a 21 point lead last night to the Grizzlies in the 4th to lose by 5 Quote
MattLoveModels Posted April 11, 2011 Posted April 11, 2011 Playoffs start this weekend! Come on people this might be our last one for 2 years. (Potential lockout)Anyone think the Bulls can actually win it all? Rose is amazing. Hard for him to not be your favorite player. Quote

Lets see them win their first round series before we make them favorites. Quote
Babalu Posted May 25, 2011 Posted May 25, 2011 Sounds like the Lakers are pushing for Mike Brown as new coach. Quote
AnaBBarrosFan Posted June 2, 2011 Posted June 2, 2011 I remember when this thread was full of people saying the Heat wouldn't even make it to the play offs....HaHaHaKiss my ass guys... Just pucker those lips and pick a cheek! Quote
MattLoveModels Posted June 3, 2011 Posted June 3, 2011 You're allowed to be happy, but the fake new Heat fans as of after Lebron got there can go suck a fat one.Btw the Heat just choked away a championship tonight Quote
SympathysSilhouette Posted June 6, 2011 Posted June 6, 2011 I hate the Heat so much... Not as much as I hate Real and Manure, but still... :| Quote
