Stormbringer Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 And the Bulls ended the Heat winning streak.Sadly I couldn't watch the game. Quote
eNe Posted April 5, 2013 Posted April 5, 2013 Fun fact: So far this season Dwight Howard has shot 314-646 from the FT line, which means he missed 332 FT's, more than Steve Nash has missed during his entire 17 year career (322 misses on 3,038-3,360). Quote
MattLoveModels Posted April 8, 2013 Posted April 8, 2013 Sad fact: the LA Lakers, with 3 future hall of famers, will probably miss the playoffs Quote
Stormbringer Posted April 8, 2013 Posted April 8, 2013 So 9th place again for the Lakers...On the other hand: for the west 1st seed -> Spurs or Thunder? Quote
eNe Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 Sad fact: the LA Lakers, with 3 future hall of famers, will probably miss the playoffs Quote
Stormbringer Posted April 14, 2013 Posted April 14, 2013 And now Kobe is out...Just when the Lakers reached the 8th seed again.Even if they make it into the playoffs, I don't think they'll can go further than the first round now. Quote
wuyo Posted April 15, 2013 Posted April 15, 2013 i agree, without kobe, lakers have very little chance of advancing. their best hope would have been if injuries also deplete spurs in the first round, but i think okc will get the top seed Quote
Stormbringer Posted April 18, 2013 Posted April 18, 2013 And with the Utah loss today, the Lakers are in playoffs. But against OKC on the first round. Tough scenario for the Lakers...I don't think they'll make it against the Thunder.Edit: 7th seed!Let's see how things go against the Spurs Quote
eNe Posted April 30, 2013 Posted April 30, 2013 Why am I here again?? Ok, I guess I saw it coming, as soon as Kobe was down, but after the first two games in SA I was hoping that maybe we can at least steal a game from them. But the last two games SA showed their true strength, and there wasn't much the short-handed lakers could've done. Btw, now Russel Westbrook is injured too. What kind of a season was this? Almost every contender besides Miami is dealing with injuries to key players. Nevertheless playoffs are awesome. I love the Bulls-Nets, and Clippers-Grizzlies series. And of course Steph Curry. I love his game, and I love the way he shows how stupid the coaches were to not pick him for the all-star game. Hats off to you young fella. Quote
wuyo Posted April 30, 2013 Posted April 30, 2013 yeah, injuries have completely altered the playoffs this year, more than any other year i can remember. playoffs have been fun to watch so far this year, but would have been even better i think with everyone at full strength. i wouldn't mind seeing a durant/curry scoring duel, both are on fire.anyone still watching? some great games so far! Stormbringer Posted May 18, 2013 Posted May 18, 2013 Two big surprises on these playoffs (for me at least):The Warriors may not have made it to conference finals, but they did a great series against the Spurs. A nice surprise with that team. And the Grizzlies beating OKC and making it to conference finals. I definitely wasn't expecting that, even with Westbrook's injury. Quote
Joe > Average Posted June 23, 2013 Posted June 23, 2013 LOL, I guess you must have really loved the one over Josh Lucas then . Quote
2324lebron Posted June 23, 2013 Posted June 23, 2013 Ha, I was just thinking about that one today. John Lucas III, last season. I am going to go look for that gif. Quote
