Leo movies :

I wouldn't put these in any particular order but  with looking at it from perspective of   combination of performance and over all  movie  my faves are = Titanic , The Departed , CYMC , Aviator, Gangs, Wolf , Gatsby, Revenant, Revolutionary Road, Once , Marvin's Room , Shutter Island, Blood Diamond, R&J , Inception

I  very much liked  his performances in movies such as Celebrity, TE, BD, TBL ,  BOL , The Beach , Django  TMIM , J Edgar , but the overall movies would  not make my Top Ten list if I had to compose one.  My feelings about them are similar to what Jade said about Celebrity  = when I rewatch it my only interest is his Brandon segment  . The same was true for me for Django , once they killed off Candy I lost interest

The main thing  for me is I can't say I ever felt he gave a 'weak' performance in any film of his that I have seen , to me, whatever the part, he always gives his all

Another anecdote from me when I watched Titanic for the first time, christmas day 1998 and Leo appeared in this scene:

12 years old me (having a major rick dalton meltdown): What the hell did you do with your beautiful hair? No, no, no, just no this look is ugly. Pls put it back loose.

Well, some things never change

Probably one of my favorite scenes ever :p:56608ac1cc5a3_smilynewone:

Jade

Regarding the Django pix  you posted, it was new to me as well  :)

If you recall  we read that the reason Calvin , even though wealthy, had 'rotting teeth'  , that you saw when he smiled , is because of his addiction to sweets /sugar.  Below is gifs of one of the scenes they deleted , where he asks Coco for some more sugar candy

As to Once,   I loved all the scenes between Rick and Cliff , plus, the entire Lancer sequence with Mirabella / Rick alone in his trailer, etc

I ,also, loved all the Sharon scenes , to me they so wonderfully captured the  joyful caring person / the promise that was lost on that tragic night

Barbie

Tks for Rick Dalton segment  :)

The pix shown are from the Mad Issue , I looked at it bookstore, and was surprised it is about a 10 pages long

From Deadline :  Once box office update including how it did once it opened in Japan /and worldwide as a whole .... it is nearly $300 million worldwide

Sony’s Once Upon A Time… In Hollywood, meanwhile, added $21.6M in the frame, off a healthy Japan start that’s three times bigger than Django Unchained and 70% more than Inglourious Basterds. Europe is quite keen on the Quentin Tarantino pic with a drop of just 29%. The overseas cume is now $152.7M with $284M worldwide.
