2010 vs. 2015

Any more doubts?

She's fine, she's pretty ...but with these extra pounds she looks shorter (yeah, I can see that she's wearing high-heels in the left picture), what in her case is not the luckiest thing as she's never been a tall one. Not to mention that her face looks more round, but I guess some people like this too...

I hope she'll reach the body she wants with her trainer.

She was too young in the first pic, she's more mature now you can not expect her to have the same body size for the rest of her life, she just need to tone her muscles and belly, she's not fat

I didn't say that she's fat. I didn't say that it's not normal to not look like as your teenage self. I only wanted to point out that her body changed a lot. And that she looks even shorter this way what is problematic if you're a model...

I'm happy that she finally realized the necessity of working out.

Her body changes because she's still growing up and I don't think this should be a problem. There are curvy models who still go strong in the fashion industry, so I wouldn't worry about her weight. :hehe:

We're in 2015, so I would appreciate if the fashion industry starts to consider more curvy models than almost-anorexic ones.

Well she's trying, it's a start I guess

30lbs more to go and she'll be golden

Probably, you wanna see her like these sick victims of modeling.

People saying she needs to lose 20-30 pounds are being absolutely ridiculous. She's still smaller than most women who are considered slender! So unless you'd like to see protruding bones, straw-like hair, and wax paper thin skin, stop the body shaming.

Oh please, most people admitted here, that she needs to tone up her body... aka loosing some weight in her case...

And it seems Barbara herself thinks that way too... And just for the record when you're pointing on those tall thin models as negative examples, that's just as rude as someone's here saying that Barbara's fat. But let's not go into this, because it's totally pointless, probably we won't be able to find a concensus...

Ok thats a little over the top.

But there's hardly any point discussing any further.

THIS. Don't want to further the weight talk as it can get out of hand easily, but 20-30 pounds is quite a lot and yes she is slender. She could use some toning up to be more "fit" but honestly that's like 5-10 pounds. It should be about being healthy and loosing 30 pounds would not be healthy especially considering her body type.

And her career is just fine and shes doing just fine at the weight shes at.

Fair enough! Lets not hypothesize any further. But to sum it up, I just wanna make it clear that to  me she appears like she might be 10-20lb over Manny Pacquiao (same height) even factoring in his superior muscle mass etc. Now, I'm not calling her fat, nor do I think Manny is anorexic :idk:

I honestly don't like seeing super skinny models walking on the runway but I understand that exist metabolisms and metabolisms. As I said she should only tone her arms and belly. Her weight is ok if they want her even if she has curves.

'She said me that she prefers to work hard in gym to eat more' (old interview at Cannes)

So she always admitted her love for food, and It's clear that she wants to maintain her body as It is now, maybe a little bit firmed up, and I respect her.

I don't think anyone here who truly is a fan and has followed her career is calling Babs fat per se. But there is no doubt she needs to tone up and lose some weight as many have pointed out here now and in the past few years. It's slightly absurd to say she is good as is because if that was the case then Barabra would be booking more jobs like it was 2010 and we all know that hasn't been the case these past 2 years or so now. So whether it was her personal decision to cool it down, I don't know. But there is no doubt she is out of shape and to pass her body as okay in the modeling world is just a tad disillusion at this point. The fact she is posting workout selfies and video clips sort of confirms the fact she herself knows she has to keep up on the weight gain or else she can kiss VS and SI goodbye to say the least. Tis a cruel industry but it is what it is, it's all body imagine whether we like it or not.
