Vali Posted December 9, 2016 Posted December 9, 2016 "In the NSFW clip, directed by Phil Poynter, the model perfectly embodies that legendary ’90s erotic thriller moment, reclining in a Marcel Breuer cantilevered chair and wearing a very short sleeveless white body con dress, a white fur coat draped across her seat back and a pair of spike-heel DSquared2 stilettos that lace all the way up her leg. Palvin’s beauty look was also a very fitting and intentional choice, not only did her brushed back, wet look hair and minimalist makeup perfectly channel the decade, but her lip was also created using Marc Jacobs Sheer Gel Lipstick in the shade appropriately dubbed ‘Role Play’ from his New Nudes collection. Of course, in Love‘s version a pair of nude underwear protects the model’s modesty. " Quote

Part of the appeal and the mystique of the Catherine Tramell character is that she is attractive but also old enough to have been around the block a few times. Barbara Palvin is a young model who quite possibly looks even younger than she is. Odd, but imo fitting. Kinda surprising. I read about this hours ago but only had the chance to watch the vid now and I thought it will be bad but no, it's not. Well of course she's not Sharon, but I wouldn't expect too much from Love Magazine. I think it turned out well, I liked it, except the longer parts of her talk when she's always shaking her head (btw she often does this, don't do it Barbara). I saw this movie not long ago so I have a clear memory about Sharon Stone and her acting, the scene and all the atmosphere what it had. I think this version of Barbara's is quite similar to that. It's funny that everyone only cares about her fake underwear. I guess Dave's already dead that's why the silence. Quote

horus Posted December 9, 2016 Posted December 9, 2016 is she preparing herself for another kind of flights? Quote

Jack Shaftoe Posted December 9, 2016 Posted December 9, 2016 Honestly, I find these Love Advent famous movie rip-offs homages very uninspired and rather tacky. This one is better than the one with Stella but still rather cringe-worthy. Not Barbara's fault, she looks marvelous as always. The Lui pictures are magnificent though. Quote
