Hi guys! Thank you very much for the images and information that you have uploaded, are fantastic! The Chanel campaign was photographed by Newton. Some contributions: Amira Casar, Cristina Cascardo and Christy Turlington. I add an image of a mysterious blonde: Helmut Newton photographed her several times but her name hasn´t transcend. If anyone can provide some data...

Regards!

Welcome back Prejean. I always wondered who the girl in the Shalimar ad was. Great to finally know who she is.

Here's another picture of Margaret and her astonishing looks.

Dalma Callado-Ferrè and Dianne De Witt-Barocco,ss 87

Slighty bigger scans of these two pictures in Dalma and Dianne threads.

spiralshaman, Margaret Donohoe has a very thin profile, very well carved, she reminds me a little to the English actress Jean Simmons. No wonder that Chanel chose her as Chanel brand image, she gives perfectly the type.

fashion_84, I think that mysterious blonde isn´t Vibeke Knudsen, but Vibeke worked a lot with Newton (are iconic the images that the German took of her with the Saint-Laurent tuxedo). She was a great model.

fender, Dalma was very, very elegant, I love that kind of "old school" mannequins, they had an awesome class. And Dianne, what to say, Thierry Mugler muse on many occasions.

Regards, guys!

Henriette Allais (brunette model, left), she was Playmate of the Month (March 1980) for Playboy magazine, and cover of the mythical book Big Nudes (Hilary Rhoda´s a bit like her).

So true Prejean.similarity is impressive :)

-That mysterious blonde maybe Lise Ryall Halsted :idk:

I would say that she isn´t Lise, aramis. That girl´s to me more like a mix between Mélanie Thierry, Daphne Groeneveld & Lara Stone, but thank you very much for your input

Another girl:

- ‘Charlotte’ (from Elite Models), 1980, by Helmut Newton (from hfwg)

- Composite (The Model Archives of Marlowe Press)

- Stern (Deutschland), 1980. At Cannes Film Festival, by H. Newton.

Another contribution: Arielle Burgelin, she worked extensively with Helmut Newton. Her look reminds very much to the photographer's wife, Alice Springs (Cleopatra haircut, sharp profile ...).

Nice. A couple of years ago, I saw her in a short film/documentary directed by former 80s model Anne Rohart.

Indeed, spiralshaman, Anne´s a film director (the documentary you mention can be found on YouTube), she directed the Making Of of one of my favorite perfume ads -"Champs-Élysées" (1996), Guerlain- with Sophie Marceau directed by Peter Lindbergh (and music of Portishead). Anne reminds me in some photos to the actress Theda Bara... she looks like a sphinx!

Another model of the eighties: Girardi.
