widget Posted November 24, 2008 Posted November 24, 2008 & yes I have. I'm not particularly a watercolor type of person (just because I haven't mastered how to apply watercolor effects) but I really am quite a fan of watersoluble pencils. I just love the texture that you can achieve with them. & they're much easier to use than watercolor paints, imo, even though they're still hard for me to handle at times Why do you ask? just curious really. i've tried experimenting with them but haven't really figured out how best to use them. do you lay down some color & then apply a wet brush to spread the color over the desired area? Laffy Posted November 24, 2008 Posted November 24, 2008 Cool work, Celine! I'm such a fan of everything you do. & yes I have. Yeah, like any new material, it takes a lot of time to figure out how to use them.& yes, pretty much I usually start off with hardly any water and barely grazing the surface of the pencil so that way I don't wash out the colour too much. You can always go lighter, but it's hard to go darker. ^Probs the most obvious piece of advice I've given in my life? Oh and, thanks guyssss Quote
