Hi, I was wondering, is there a dimension limit to the attached images. If so, what exactly is it? I have failed to upload two 3000-pixel images, the smaller ones load just fine. All images are jpg, less than 2 MB each.

To answer my own question: the dimension limit of the images to be attached at BZ is 5,290,000 pixels or 5.29 megapixels. I tested the system by trial-and-error and have not been able to upload any image bigger than that.

To find out the number of pixels in an image simply multiply the image height times width. For example, if you have an image sized 2000 x 1300 pixels, you would multiply those two numbers and get 2,600,000 pixels (2.6 megapixels) as a result. Image that size can be attached to a message posted at BZ as it is well within the dimension limit.

I hope this information will save other posters some time and trouble.

I wanted to upload a few photos today.

It looked like the pic is uploading, but then it showed: "Manage current attachments (0)", like nothing was uploaded

Once again I´m having trouble uploading bigger images to BZ. I´ve tried everything (re-size) and even images of 750 KB seems too big. I just see for minutes this "Uploading file" circle and it says "sending request to Bellazon.com" on the bottom line, but nothing happens. This is no fun!

Bellazons upload doesn´t work with Firefox browser, but Internet Explorer.

I am using firefox 3.5 and its working fine. What version of firefox are you using?

So I made this topic http://www.bellazon.com/main/index.php?showtopic=30526 and the attachments look fine and all, but onced I logged out I noticed that I couldn't see any of the thumbnails. ??? It does show the the fact that there are attachments in there, you can see the file names, but once you click them it takes you to an error page. So basically, it seems only members who happen to be online can see the pictures. What happened? Other threads in the Other Females of Interest section seem to be affected as well.

How can you attach an image so it doesn't reduce it in size?

eg. even a 300x225 image gets reduced by 50% until you click it

As far as I know you can't do anything with the display of attached pics. You could use an imagehost like imageshack or photobucket or imageupper, I'm sure they'll provide different display sizes for thumbnails. However, please note that embedded images over 1050 pixels in width must be thumbnailed or textlinked.

As for thumbnails or small images posted side by side, please do not exceed 600 pixels in width.

And before you ask, YES I am logged in when I get this error, I made sure to check.

If someone is trying to identify a model, it seems a waste to post if the model has been previously identified, but not being able to see the pictures in the thread makes this impossible.

PROBLEM 2

In some threads there are attachments, but the board isn't displaying them correctly. For example, in this thread:

I get the same sort of thing when I reply with quotes to a post that has attachments in it that work.

If these are known bugs, it would be helpful to list them in your FAQ, so that people know what is going on.
