Samiot Posted June 15, 2023 Posted June 15, 2023 Always loved her look! She would have been the next Cindy Crawford if she had stayed in modelling Quote

Kendra was just a great model. Not a supermodel like Cindy. There is only one Cindy;)) I still love Kendra, she also reminds me a bit of Karen Mulder sometimes, although she is not blond. Quote

I was referring to a similar look that Kendra had to Cindy. In fact, there were shoots that Kendra did that attempted to recreate the look that Cindy had and Kendra did it quite successfully. Don't forget that when Cindy began modelling she was was hailed as the next, " Baby Gia," for her likeness to Gia Carangi. So, yes you can be the next somebody else. That doesn't make any model less unique. It's just that various ,"looks" are repeated and celebrated. If you are speaking about Kendra's career vs. Cindy's, then of course, there is no comparison both for quantity and quality of work as well as longevity in modelling. It is also hard to compare models of different generations. The supers of the '80's and '90's will likely never be seen again. Quote
radolgc Posted June 17, 2023 Posted June 17, 2023 I agree. But to me the best era for models in general will be the late 80's and early 90's. But I guess it all very subjective and depends on how old we are;) Quote

Samiot Posted August 5, 2024 Posted August 5, 2024 It would be nice to see her attempt a comeback, but I suppose with 9 and 7 year old boys, she has her hands full Quote

For most girls modelling is just a job which helps them make tons of money at a very young age. Kendra had a long career and marrying a very rich man, having kids etc....makes going to work absolutely pointless. I am a fan and i admire and collect her work for years. However she will never make a comeback. Comebacks are for the very big supermodels who turned modeling into a lifestyle. The likes of Linda, Cindy or Naomi....besides, most girls/models would stop if they have enough(money). And most sensible people in general would. Modeling is just an opportunity for most of them. After all it is part of an industry and simply a job, no matter how glamourous or overpaid it might be. Quote

It is obvious your false conclusion is insulting, but i forgive you. However, you can not speak on behalf of her or any other model. She is not a star, never was and never will be. Although i never asked her(neither you did), i assume she does not give a crap about all that shit. Assuming that someone is vain or aims for popularity is kinda shallow🤣🤣🤣🤣 And she saw herself enough on magazine covers...lol...seems you have no idea what she did during her career. Quote
