Ale and Izabel share more of a resemblance than Kelly and Shanina yet there's always been room for both of them. For years and years… Meanwhile I think Sara looks like could be Adriana's younger sister. Kelly and Shanina are both 'exotic' beauties, both stunning and it is such a pity VS couldn't cope with having both! Hope they get it right next year.

^I mostly agree with what you said, but we have no idea if the reason was due to VS not being able to "cope" with having them both. You said it yourself that Ale and Izabel look more similar, yet VS has always allowed both of them in the show together for years, so why do you still think it has something to do with Shanina looking like Kelly? For all we know Shanina could have done poorly for castings, or something like that. I just really can't imagine Shanina not making it because VS thinks she looks like Kelly. If Shanina had made it instead of Kelly, then that might make more sense, but why would they not allow the more popular model that has already done the show before? Again though, I don't think it has anything to do with them looking similar, and I personally don't think they look alike, I was just saying that would make more sense.

I am sorry, but I don't think they look alike at all. If anything there are other models that look more similar to each other, so I really don't think that is the reason for Shanina not making it in the show. I hate it when people say Sara looks like Adriana, but in my opinion they look just as similar as Kelly and Shanina, if not more, yet Sara still made it, and Adriana is super famous angel, which can't be said for Shanina or Kelly.

I don't think Sara looks like Adriana, not at all. They send different vibes when you look at them. Sara is more like a teenager, Adriana- more mature.

Ale and Izabel- I don't think they look alike.

Maybe she did poorly like you said and that;'s why she wasn't in the show. idk.

Haha I get what your saying, and mostly I agree with you, but are you saying Shanina and Kelly share a few resemblances, or that they flat out resemble each other? Either way I don't see how that could be said about them if the same isn't said about Sara and Adri. Me personally I think yes they may share a few characteristics, but they don't actually look alike, meaning Sara and Adri and Shanina and Kelly.

I don't see a resemblance in facial features, but having looked at Kelly's backstage and runway photos from yesterday's show, it did remind me of Shanina from her first show in 2011 (especially on the runway). 

 

Both girls walked Nanette Lepore SS 13 - Shanina followed Kelly and they wore swimwear in the same fabric, with Shanina in a one-piece and Kelly in a bikini.  To me,  the resemblance is more the 'exotic beauty' thing - I can see how they are alike, and both are ridiculously gorgeous and very striking, but also how they're different - Kelly almost has a South East Asian look with her dark eyes,  while Shanina's got those incredible cat-eyes and cheekbones… I also remember seeing a backstage photo from that show with both of them but can't find it anymore.

OMG honestly in my opinion Izabel Goulart is NOT PRETTY compared to Shanina. she is average looking on her own.

 

Izabel looks very manly and although she has a great walk, shes an old face im sick of seeing. I'm very much rallying for VS to drop Izabel and Alessandra, as much as I like Ale, she's starting to look too old for VS. I hope they dont work her like they did Heidi because I'm never excited about seeing Ale (she use to be my favorite)

 

Shanina should be an angel, I cannot believe VS passed her up. Kelly is really pretty but if they can have a lineup of similar looking blonde blue eyed models, i think they should have room for Shanina and Kelly.

Well at course Sara looks more like a teenager she's 21 & obviously adriana is going to look older she's 31, they're 10 years apart & that's big difference. Kelly & Shanina look nothing a like, Shanina looks morelike Hayley from the. Vampire diaries.

They could have both in it & cut out some of the blondes. It would have look more fierce. If it was for me I would had both, bregje & barbara in it.

Agree - like both could have walked the Parisian nights section and left Cara out. And I'm not a fan of Barbara Fialho so I could happily have seen Shanina replace her.

I don't know about average, but I guess it's your opinion. I agree that she is very muscular, but I think she still looks completely feminine. In fact, I think she is about as muscular as a woman can get while still looking completely feminine, and that is because she does the right workouts to keep her individually toned muscles small. If she had big bulky abs and stuff I would agree with you, but because they are so small and dainty, I do not have a problem with it, and I think it looks great.

Also, I agree that someone needs to step down and Shanina needs to step up. I just don't necessarily think it should be Izabel, even though she only really does the shows. Although, if I did agree that Izabel should step down, it definitely wouldn't be because I think she is ugly, average, or manly. I just think there are quite a few others that should not make it in the show before someone like Izabel, and that would definitely make a spot open for Shanina. That's kind of a bad way of looking at it though, shouldn't people on this thread want Shanina to make it because she is better than other models, and because she out did them, opposed to some models stepping down to make room for her?
