worshipper pa Posted July 25, 2005 Posted July 25, 2005 That's a perfect solution.I could as well kill myself to ensure nobody else kills me! btw don't be scared. Run Spybot, Ad-aware, MS Antispyware and an anti-virus regularly and you will be safe. Also check this program out: http://www.sysinternals.com/utilities/autoruns.html Plus if you don't help him, there is no way he can install a program on your machine if you use anti-virus and a good firewall. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Okay, I have got those things in order. Thanks for the link. I definitely won't help him to install software in my PC! Quote
Rogue Posted August 21, 2006 Posted August 21, 2006 speaking of msn hacks ... don't know if this is the right place but .. does anyone use a msn polygamy patch?? Quote
lazy01001 Posted August 21, 2006 Posted August 21, 2006 I used the patch once, but I quit because I couldn't keep the damn thing lit... Quote
Rogue Posted August 21, 2006 Posted August 21, 2006 well, I just put on msn live to put on plus ... I hate plus, but it has polygamy... it's the only function I use apart from the other control that makes msn transparent Quote

Rogue Posted January 29, 2007 Posted January 29, 2007 damn it ... I've been having this problem with msn where if I add a person who is adding me it just boots me out of msn and I end up having to change my password (via the secret question, because the hack disables my password) and it's really starting to get old. the hijacker email addresses were: [email protected] [email protected] [email protected] [email protected] and the list keeps growing. Daniela Posted February 1, 2007 Posted February 1, 2007 Ive been hacked twice by msn... Im getting used to it now Quote
maddog107 Posted February 2, 2007 Posted February 2, 2007 yall should really use Trillian or something like that instead. Quote
Rogue Posted February 2, 2007 Posted February 2, 2007 I never add an unknown id.the thing is I give people my email address to people so that they can add me at school and what not .. so sometimes I'm expecting ads. What I do is add them while keeping them blocked for a while... check out their display picture and name and such ... but mehh..what's trillian? Quote

Not to mention known exploits to the MSN thingy probably do not affect you since you are not running MSN. Quote
Rogue Posted February 2, 2007 Posted February 2, 2007 oh thanks! .. I only use msn, but if it kills the hackers .. lol great. Quote
Daniela Posted February 6, 2007 Posted February 6, 2007 yall should really use Trillian or something like that instead. Forgive my ignorance but... what's that? Quote

horaz Posted April 16, 2007 Posted April 16, 2007 You can use Miranda or Gaim (or now Pidgin), too. I guess all of them are safer then MSN I had once a tool which you could use to write something as your chat partner. It's kinda cool if you say for the other person: Someone else (but you write this):I <3 you. You: I thought only I had feelings for you. Someone else (but this time the real person): Oh noes, I did not write that. What the --? Great fun for hours Quote
