I think that Miranda had bad luck. First - rumors of divorce, then rumors that she wants to leave from David Jones, she changed modeling agency ( there were plenty of bitter comments about it ), she has a new manager now ( involved in sexual abuse scandal ) and finally naked pictures removed from Laurent's site and few days later "boom " naked session for Harper's Bazaar ( some have called it hypocrisy ). I'm not a fan of this editorial. Maybe if another photographer made it in a more " artistic " way ? Only because of the title I know that this session was about boots. Now she has another editorial for Purple also made by Richardson ( and video with B12 injection ) and she talks about privacy and shares pictures from Wellington at the same time. It's a loop. Whatever she does is criticized by the media. People say that Miranda wants to keep on top no matter what that's why she likes to " shed clothes". But it's a part of her job. Naked model posing with watch, bag or glasses it's a good idea but it should be sensual. For example I don't think that naked Julianne Moore for Bvlgari is bad:

Pregnant Ambrosio had naked editorial, Adriana was posing for Pirelli, Candice and Gisele also have that kind of session. Unfortunately, most of the negative comments is dedicated to Miranda because of Flynn. As if she was a saint. It's not only about that failed session for HB - bashing Miranda lasts for a several months.

I think that we should discuss what we don't like about her career. That's why we are fans not blind fanatics . Now she has beautiful campaign for Qantas and David Jones. Fingers crossed for another wonderful projects (Y) . Can't wait for her new editorial for Style Me Romy. I hope that Chris Colls will be the photographer.

the nude mag cover she did when she was pregnant with flynn was beautiful. i don't mind chris colls that much. i like most of his shoots. the line between art and vulgarity gets blurred when it comes to nudes. scumbbags like richardson cross the line intentionally. if because of her profile he can't exploit her directly he is clearly doing it indirectly through shoots.

i think the main problem is that the richardson shoots do not go with the "the girl next door"- "earth mother image" she wants to potray.if kate moss would do it no questions would be asked because she is outregeous and never pretended otherwise. but miranda intentionally created a certain image and is directly profiting from it. she has intentionally put herself in a position where she will be judged and critisized more than other models.but nobody has forced her there.so she cann't say "my personal life is my personal life" or "i can do whatever i wan't ".she is a good model no doubt.but it is also true that in the last 5 years she has benefitted imensely by flaunting her personal life, her husband and son.

she has VS, DJ , qantas and numerous other reputable brands. so what is the point of participating in dubious shoots and associating with weirdos?she doesn't need the money or jobs. going by the fact that she was more a commercial model than HF one untill recently, the mags and certain photogs are clearly more interested in her status as a celebrity than a model. isn't that the same reason why actors are more prefered than models by certain mags.

there is a massive difference between what she preaches and her actions. the problem for her is that ti is not only noticed and discussed by fans but also by reputable and serious media. so better be careful.

on the other hand i absolutely loved the T mag spread. OB is a good photog and she looks better than she has for ages. she actually looks very elfish in the pics.

I think It's her life she has the right to do whatever she wants ! people who really love her gonna love her whatever she does !! the photo session with terry will not make me change my point of view on Miranda ! She will still my favorite model !

If I can't tell at a glance whether the shoot is meant for Playboy or Harper's Bazaar then is it even about the product anymore? Playboy probably would have paid a lot more for the same editorial. For a model who can pick and choose jobs, it's a curious choice.
