Roll

post-16106-0-1446013805-49969_thumb.jpg

English Voice Actress: Kathleen Barr (Mega Man Cartoon), Andrea Libman (Mega Man: Upon a Star), Angie Beers (MMPU)

Japanese Voice Actress: Hiroko Konishi (MM8, MMB&C), Konami Yoshida (SAR), Yoshimi Ninomiya (MMPU), Hiromi Igarashi (TxC:CGoH)

Game: Mega-Man series, Marvel vs. Capcom, Tatsunoko vs. Capcom: Cross Generation of Heroes

Creator: Keiji Inafune

Manufacturer: Dr. Light

Model: DRN-002

Function: Domestic Help

So Roll has been around since 1987. She is Megaman's little sister. In Japan, Megaman is actually called Rockman so... there's a little joke there. Rock n' Roll. Anyway, she's never really had a huge role in the video games although Capcom actually toyed with the idea of making her an actual playable character since Megaman 2. She wasn't really designed by Dr. Light to fight. She was more to help around the house, thus her choice weapon... a broom. Why do we remember her then? Marvel vs. Capcom. I tell you, there was nothing more satifying than unlocking her as a secret character and proceeding to give the Incredible Hulk a beating like he's never had before with this tiny little thing not much bigger than his foot. There was also a short lived cartoon series and such.

RepliCarter

post-16106-0-1446013806-89755_thumb.jpg

Actress: Amanda Tapping (BZ thread in bad shape)

Show: Stargate SG-1 (1997-2007)

Creator: Joseph Mallozzi, Paul Mullie & Robert C. Cooper

Manufacturer: Fifth

Model: Unknown

Function: Rogue

Amanda Tapping played Replicator Carter (commonly referred to as RepliCarter by the producers, actors and fans), a human-form Replicator created by Fifth. She first appears at the end of "New Order", and becomes a major adversary in the eighth season of the series. Fifth intended her to be a duplicate of the real Samantha Carter, but one who would return his affections. Replicator Carter seemingly defects from Fifth to the SGC in "Gemini". She claims that she has abandoned Fifth because she possesses the real Carter's memories and character. However, she has been deceiving both the SGC and Fifth: from the former she develops a means to immunize herself from the Replicator Disruptor, and the latter she abandons to be destroyed, having only pretended to love him. Replicator Carter tells her human counterpart that all humans desire power, and that the only difference between them is that she is not limited by her own fears.

In "Reckoning", Replicator Carter launches a full-scale invasion of the Milky Way and personally eliminates the last of the Goa'uld System Lords. She abducts Daniel Jackson and probes his mind to find the location of the Dakara superweapon, the only thing in the galaxy capable of stopping her. She sends her massive Replicator-controlled Ha'tak fleet to Dakara to destroy the device, where they engage the forces of Ba'al and the Jaffa Rebellion. She also sends Replicators to attack Earth, where they overrun much of Stargate Command. However, at a critical moment, Daniel Jackson is able to exploit his connection to the Replicator network and freeze all the Replicators. Though Replicator Carter eventually breaks their connection and stabs him, his actions buy enough time for the real Carter and Jacob/Selmak to finish calibrating the Dakara weapon and activate it. The resulting energy wave breaks Replicator Carter and all her brethren into their constituent parts.

KOS-MOS

KOS-MOS.jpg

English Voice Actress: Bridget Hoffman(XS1,3), Colleen O'Shaughnessey(XS2)

Japanese Voice Actress: Mariko Suzuki

Game: Xenosaga

Creator: Soraya Saga (Namco)

Manufacturer: Vector Industries

Class: Special Humanoid Anti-Gnosis Annihilation Weapon

Model: Kosmos Obey Strategical Multiple Operation Systems

Serial Number: 00-00-00-00-1

KOS-MOS is an armored female android, developed by the interstellar conglomerate Vector Industries. She is comprised of entirely mechanical parts (possibly from a superior breed of complex nanomachines), a rarity in the age of advanced Realian technology. The basic tenet to which she adheres is based on logic, probability, and completion of her mission above all else. She also unconditionally protects Shion Uzuki, her co-creator. She is equipped with a "Simulated Personality OS" to aid in communication, and though her speech conveys her role as an android in service to humans, her tendency to put logic and probability first makes her quite difficult to manage at times.

The name 'KOS-MOS' is a recursive acronym used to denote an anti-Gnosis tactic system. It stands for "Kosmos Obey Strategical Multiple Operation Systems". Her development name is "KP-X", and she is self classified as a "Special Humanoid Anti-Gnosis Annihilation Weapon". Her serial number is "00-00-00-00-1". She appears to be emotionless, but throughout the series, evidence indicates that this is not entirely true.

Number Six

post-16106-0-1446013812-80609_thumb.jpg

Actress: Tricia Janine Helfer

Show: Battlestar Galactica (2003)

Creator: Ronald D. Moore

Manufacturer: Cylon

Class: Humanoid Cylon

Model: Six of Twelve

"Number Six" is a humanoid Cylon who plays several key roles in Cylon society. She is the first humanoid Cylon that viewers witness in the re-imagined Battlestar Galactica. Stunningly beautiful, sensual, and highly religious, this highly driven model is marked by a ruthlessness against all who stand in her way.

To date, more unique versions of the Six model have been witnessed than any other humanoid Cylon. Besides the use of numerous aliases, Six is also the only Cylon model known to have varied appearances and personalities: while most often seen as a platinum blonde, Six has also been seen with honey blonde and black hair, and displaying personalities ranging from overtly sensual to wide-eyed and innocent, and from blindly supporting the attack on the Colonies to desiring peaceful coexistence. This differs from the other known models who display generally the same personality traits (Sharon Valerii and Sharon Agathon being exceptions) and look identical.

What a great thread TooB! Totally made my night. Hopefully there's still interest in it. I just stumbled upon it while doing a search for Tricia Helfer :D

Any ways, I was hoping I can add a suggestion to the discussion. Not sure how many of you are familiar with the Ghost in the Shell franchise, but Motoko Kusanagi has been my girl for the longest time ever since I saw the movie.

Here she is showing some back ;)

Also, some reading material for TooB's and his research.
