Rogue Posted June 14, 2006 Posted June 14, 2006 ok ... that was not the most amazing thing I've seen in my life. I could do that Ana thingy with paint and that would take less than 2 minutes, .... I want to see something super uber cool. I totally need to get photoshop... I'm such a loser; I use paint and I make ALL of my siggies by myself!!! *walks away in shame* Quote
SympathysSilhouette Posted August 11, 2006 Posted August 11, 2006 How do you turn a B&W image to a color image in Photoshop? I saw Llama post a great color version of a B&W image in the Izabel Goulart thread. Can someone teach me how to do that? Oh and explain it to me like I'm a three year old. *Meaning I need the "add color for dummies" version* Quote
Taben Posted August 11, 2006 Posted August 11, 2006 haha llama asked me how good i thought it was on msn... it's ace :| she told me took her bout 1 hour to realize that... Quote
SympathysSilhouette Posted August 11, 2006 Posted August 11, 2006 It sucks that everyone has way better PS skillz :blueeyedbaby: than me... Quote
Taben Posted August 11, 2006 Posted August 11, 2006 haha it takes practise to be really good llama says PS skills are quite useless though Quote
SympathysSilhouette Posted August 11, 2006 Posted August 11, 2006 You're forgetting one very important detail: I'm the poster child for 20-something lazy slackers. Quote
Adrianas Llama Posted August 11, 2006 Posted August 11, 2006 Im not going to provide a tutorial for this for a few of reasons 1) like taben said its pretty much a matter of practise, ive been doing this since i was in high school and have spent a lot of time tweaking and fiddling with my technique 2) nobody ive tried to teach actually likes my technique. it can be quite time consuming and they get fed up with it. its also multi stepped and varies for every picture, i dont even think i could write a tutorial for it but we have plenty of other photoshoppers here im sure someone will provide something. and if not theres always our good friend google Quote
SympathysSilhouette Posted August 11, 2006 Posted August 11, 2006 I just found an online manual. The way they go about it is by adjusting the color through the Hue and Saturation menu of small selections of the picture. Seems like a process that takes some practice indeed. Anyone can provide me with a better method maybe? Quote
SympathysSilhouette Posted August 11, 2006 Posted August 11, 2006 I kinda figured out their method sucks after messing around with it for a few minutes. It's impossible to get something exactly the color you want it to be this way. Or maybe I'm doing something wrong. Quote
mylovelyangel Posted August 11, 2006 Posted August 11, 2006 I could probably figure it out, that is the way I learned my shit, and constant kocking on avada's door Quote
Adrianas Llama Posted August 12, 2006 Posted August 12, 2006 lol i worked it out on my own at the wee age of 14 so im sure you guys will be fine Quote
Adrianas Llama Posted August 12, 2006 Posted August 12, 2006 *looks suave* no im more trying to say that.. if 14 year old me can work it out then so can you :| Quote
SympathysSilhouette Posted August 12, 2006 Posted August 12, 2006 I seem to have hit a plateau with PS a while back. And that online tutorial sucks even more than I originally thought. Quote
mylovelyangel Posted August 23, 2006 Posted August 23, 2006 I took my best shot at school today, when I should of been doing work anywho this is like what I attempted. I tryed I will try harder next time Quote
