I caught bits of episode 1 yesterday, yes 1st rate acting from Colin and the show looks quality.  It actually looks more like a movie than than tv show.

 

Overall an interesting make-up job, a bit scary and he reminds me of an mobster archetype like Brando in the Godfather.
