I can't hear the naysayers.

Some of these photos are very beautiful indeed but a couple of them are shockingly awful and extremely inappropriate.

I like the idea of a "rebirth" issue but if you're going to have a model pose with children it is wiser to choose a model that has actually given birth to children. Seeing a woman pose with her naked son or daughter or seeing a photo of a mother that is about to breastfeed her child can be natural and beautiful but seeing a woman posing with naked children and posing like she is about to breastfeed a child that isn't hers is really gross and disturbing.

and Kate do not represent the "mom" in these pictures but the childhood and the innocence

Someone who claims to like Kate certainly seems to put her and her body of work down at every turn. GG Please if I ever become famous don't become my fan. With fans like you, who needs an enemy? :huh:

Look, Savior, everyone is entitled to their interpretation, but honestly, to go to a model's thread and see something vulgar in photos that I and others here don't comprehend says a lot about your set of lenses where Kate is concerned.

I think the big difference there is that I am actually a photographer. As a photographer, I would never photograph a woman that didn't have a shirt or bra on while holding a baby unless it was actually her baby (yes, Kate is CLEARLY braless and topless in one of the photos). There are certain lines you just don't cross and posing without a shirt or bra on with someone else's baby is gross.

Sorry, that's both my professional and personal opinion. As you said though, we all see things differently. What I think is funniest though is that most models that have children would never participate in a photoshoot like this. I'm not allowed to mention the name of other models in Kate's thread so I won't but I can think of 15 other world famous models that all have children and would NEVER consider doing this type of photoshoot. They might do it with their children but they would never do it with someone else's child.

Because you know their personal opinions and personal feelings when it comes to this right? You know that they were in fact approached, and asked to do this shoot above Kate and they were all horrified and refused saying it was immoral and wrong; that they would never debase themselves or their children for fashion? These same models who undoubtedly have done nude photo shoots or semi nude shoots?

Please, save the self righteous sanctimonious opinions until you have some proof to back them. Just because you say that it's truth doesn't mean it is.

Oh and for the record, please point out the picture where Kate is clearly topless with a child in that shoot. Not having a bra on is one thing so long as the girls are covered I don't see the issue. Or have you never gone to the supermarket, or out on the street and seen girls walking without a bra?

Wow, looked again, and guess what....NO TOPLESS!! Anyone, photographer or not, can make up a set of standards and then go to a model's thread and criticize them for not living up to them, which is what you seem to do. Clearly, Kate has chosen the type of photography she feels is appropriate for her. Many people here, including myself enjoy her artistic expression. So, given that Kate doesn't meet your expectations on a pretty consistent basis, why do you feel the need to come here?

Go back to school to actually learn about fashion photography history! I could give u a long list of famous photographer and fashion (super) models who did that kind of shoot that u find so disturbing. I could give u another list of fashion editorials with naked children posing with models from very famous fashion magazines. I could but i am not going to do it because only a pervert can see perversion onto a picture with a model holding a naked baby onto her (not even naked) chest.
