This time around Trump won by a landslide- no people yelling outside of Trump tower.

Liberated? Twitter is literally the most unmoderated platform out there. About few months back I tried to prove this to a friend by testing how good the moderation is. Took me literally less than 30 secs to find Nazi propaganda (like the really bad stuff that would sent you to prison in Germany for a very long time) and execution videos by just using the search. I reported 5 or 6 of these posts which broke several (or all of them) Twitter hateful conduct guidelines (https://help.x.com/en/rules-and-policies/hateful-conduct-policy). Only one of those reported posts got removed about two weeks later. 

 

EDIT: just checked the reported posts and they're still intact, including the profiles and the video. If that is what you call "free speech" then that's really f*d up.

I think people are smart enough to decide for themselves what to believe or not, and don't need to rely on government bureaucrats to monitor it for them.

The 'Russian propaganda' is very tame and mild in comparison (I have seen both sides while following the war).

 

When Twitter was controlled by far left activists they were actively promoting Ukrainian propaganda on the platform like crazy, claiming that Ukraine was going to win the war and Russia was going to collapse.  Now we're here in a totally different scenario compared to what Ukraine and the US gov't claimed.

I disagree. There are more garbage movies and other type of stars, games and bad choices, but into all always there are good surprise. The excess are not ok but there are more people in adictions, bad ideology and bad things out of the cinema business. One example, some serious doctora have got more tattoes than a lot of actors, and normal people think more in alcohol weekends than travels.

The Biden Administration just poisoned pilled' Trump with this escalation.  For the duration of the war they have routinely denied Ukraine-NATO use of these weapons to their maximum range.  Meanwhile Zelensky is openly saying that they will work with Trump to end the war and it will end sooner than otherwise expected.  This escalation probably won't be a big deal but it would one more issue that would get in the way of successful negotiations:

HBO is making a Harry Potter TV series despite JK rowling getting canceled.

 

There were major failures in gaming like Concord, Ubi-soft etc.  Hollywood but overall I agree the situation seems bad.  The main thing is that the people that work on these projects are mostly Democrats themselves from small enclaves. 

 

As a kid even in the 1990s I thought that the obsession with the leisure rich, luxury, and hollywood celebrities (mostly) among women was wrong.   These actors did not deserve so much influence.  Now half the country hates them and don't respect them.

 

The so-called 'Legacy media' news networks have declined a lot in influence as well.  At least half the country hates them.  We have streaming, internet and the Right to thank for that these past 15+ odd years.

 

In the past the propaganda from the tv news/mainstream press was important in influencing the election and now a very low number of people even watched the debates compared to the Joe Rogan interviews.

Before Musk, Twitter was a cesspool governed by far left extremists. Posting "there are 2 genders" was considered n*zi propaganda. The bird was the prisoner of the Woke cult. "Charming" pink haired fellows were harassing, bullying and cancelling anyone that disagreed with them.
