Love my girlie LIMA, and love her goofyness, BUT CHICA REALLY REALLY REALLY needs to work on the posing, granted that pic isnt for the show, lolllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll, but still, SIGHS, LOVE YOU LIMA, BUT PLEASE SISTA GIRL, MAKE US FANS PROUD DO SOME NEW & IMPROVED POSES

It's not her posing that needs work; she was just fine all the way till 06, when VS asked her to be 'funner' and 'livelier' but instead she started making ridiculous faces and gesticulations.

All she needs to do is find a happy medium between classy and fun.

I've asked this on another forum but no one seems to know. Does anyone know where the pre events are located and about what time they will start? I know they have already started today or already over but I believe they still have an event tomorrow.

Fittings

Wearing a pair of 5-feet-wide wings of wheat, straw, and corn—not to mention teetering Giuseppe Zanotti platform boots—would make for a tricky strut, but not for veteran supermodel, Lindsay Ellingson, who said she's attempted much more defying acts on the catwalk. "I closed Viktor & Rolf's show once wearing a steel rig with tungsten lights and speakers. I seriously thought I was going to fall over, so this is easy!" she laughed.

Concepts for the show take place as early as February each year. Juliette Meurisse, a French crafts person who formerly worked with Sonia Rykiel, connects with the show's stylist, Charlotte Stockdale, to start the design process. This year Meurisse, whose specialty is feathers, is designing 4 sets of wings to be featured throughout the show's five themes: "Tough Love," "Wild Things," "Heavenly Bodies," "Game On," "Pink," and "Country Girls." Ellingson will wear this look for the later, hence the use of straw, hay, and corn. Meurisse (pictured with Ellingson) also designed the matching corset.

"We really went all the way this year with the wings —with scale, with concept, and with the amount of them. Whenever you think we can't possibly do more, that's when we do," said the show's costume designer Todd Thomas who, fittingly, kept adding more eyelet trim when putting the finishing touches on Ellingson's look.

Inspiration board for Country Girls. "This is the softer section of the show," said Thomas. "It’s sweet and feminine. You’ll see the set design is this sunlit farm with shots of light, particles of hay and pollen floating through the air, and sunshine. It's super romantic."

Meurisse said these wings alone took an entire month to create and are still a work in progress. "It's not finished," she said. "I have to make a new design, because it was too heavy. They didn’t move the way we wanted when she walked."

This year the wings are so massive they have needed a room of their own at Victoria's Secret's headquarters in NYC. Where do the works of art go after the show? They are archived at a warehouse in Ohio and only sent out for special events and photo shoots.

For this haute show, every detail counts and the accessories this year are incredibly intricate. Don't be fooled, every bead, crystal, and sequin is handsewn— I saw the designers hard at work!

Meurisse said she hand dyes all the feathers. This ombre set of wings looks like it was inspired by the movement and explosion of colors in fireworks.

Spoiler Alert: These Gaga-inspired bubble wings are for the finale and will be blowing real bubbles on the runway.

It was a joke so calm your self down. There is no event today because if there was where are the photos? Like in previous years the events usually happen the day of the show not 2 days before. So unless some picture surface there is no event happening today.
