Kingston, who will be 3 in May, was playing in the back of a golf car. Gwen was spotted taking baby Zuma, 6 months, for a stroll in the California sun. In a recent radio interview, Gwen talked about Kingston’s taste in music: “He likes hits, he’s like his mom, he likes just all the hits. Any song that comes on, he’ll get ******, if you turn the station. He’ll be like, ‘That’s my song, that’s MY song!’ He’s really into anything that’s popular and he’s really into Britney’s songs. Really, a lot. He’s really into her. Because she actually lives on my street and he would go over there(…) He thinks she’s really great. And he flirts with her and stuff. Meghann Posted March 14, 2009 Posted March 14, 2009 Gwen Stefani Dishes On Zuma’s ‘Quirky’ Name Ask Gwen Stefani what she’s been doing the last few years and her answer is an obvious one: “I’ve been making babies!” In a new interview with Detroit’s Mojo in the Morning, the mom of two says that her laid-back lifestyle since completing her last tour is about to head down a new path as she and her husband, singer Gavin Rossdale each gear up for their world tours. Coincidentally the same age as his older brother when he traveled the world during Gwen’s Sweet Escape tour, 6-month-old Zuma Nesta Rock will be along for the ride and the proud mama is worry-free when it comes to her “sweet, chunky” baby boy. However, the same does not ring true for 2 ½-year-old Kingston James McGregor! “King has [a] really big opinion about what we do, so we’ll figure it out,” she shares. “We’ll pretty much be going to all the zoos and different places on our days off.” Although thrilled to take her boys with her, Gwen laughs that sometimes she finds herself longing for the old days! “Some days I miss the old selfish touring days where you just sleep all day, but those days are gone. I just need to accept it!” Planning the tour “on a whim” following being “cooped up” during her pregnancy, Gwen admits that she is yet to gain back her body before baby. Having gained “definitely way more than with Kingston,” the 39-year-old says that shedding the pounds has been “a million times harder” the second time around. “I had all these plans that I wasn’t going to get fat this time, but you don’t have control over it,” she explains. What’s Gwen’s secret to looking fabulous in the No Doubt promotional ads for the tour? Planning ahead! “We shot that right when I got home [from my Sweet Escape tour] because I was like, ‘You know what, I’m going to get pregnant right now so you better take a picture of me. Capture this moment because I look good!” Asked about her baby boy’s unusual moniker, Gwen references Zuma Beach, Calif., a location “really close to where we live.” Pressed further for an explanation, asking if Zuma was in fact conceived on the sandy shores, the songstress can’t help but laugh. “Yeah, we’re doing it on the public beach, dude. The paparazzi!” According to Gwen, the idea actually came from fellow No Doubt member Tom Dumont, whose wife Mieke happened to be expecting a baby at the same time. In lieu of working on their record, Gwen laughs that the two were swapping name choices when the name Zuma popped up for Tom and Mieke. ”I kind of stole it from him…I didn’t steal it, I mean his wife didn’t want it,” she says. “It was just one of those things that just happened. Seven-month-old Zuma Rossdale was sporting mom’s shades at the BNP Paribas Open on the weekend. Mama Gwen Stefani was also looking funky with big brother Kingston, 3, this May, and Mirka Vavrinec (wearing multi-coloured dress), Roger Federer’s pregnant girlfriend. The group watched Roger playing (and losing his semi-final against scottish Andy Murray). The BNP Paribas Open is a tennis Masters 1000 tournament part of the ATP World Tour, held at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden in Indian Wells. Three-years-old this May Kingston Rossdale was sporting his rasta beanie and headset as he listened to his dad, Gavin Rossdale, live in performance on Wednesday. Gavin was performing for 104.3 MY FM at the Donate Life Concert Series for L.A. LIVE. Kingston was spotted pretending to sing into a microphone and enjoying a blue lollipop that left its mark all over his mouth. Gavin recently reported that Kingston will be joining him when he starts his tour in April: “I take Kingston for as long as he wants, so I try to drum that into him: ‘Are you ready to go on tour? Are you ready to go on tour?’ It’s going to be fun!” Gavin added that life on the road will be a bit different with a toddler, saying, “You gotta see where all the zoos are in the towns you’re playing.” March 25, 2009 Quote

The adorable tot played with a scooter and chased after a butterfly kite while sporting a pair of stylish shades. Kingston and his 7-month-old brother, Zuma, have become regulars at the popular Coldwater Canyon Park, just like some of their pals such as Ruby Sweetheart Maguire, the Klum-Samuels and the Beckham brothers just to name a few. Gavin was playing the Donate Life Concert Series at L.A. LIVE and brought his toddler (plus the nanny!) along for the show. The brothers shared a swing while mom and dad watched with smiles. Gavin even took out his camera and took some shots of the boys at play. The Rossdale brothers continue to steal our hearts! Gwen Stefani and husband Gavin Rossdale get in some quality family time with their two sons — Kingston, 3, this May, and Zuma, 7 months — at a Beverly Hills park on Sunday. Although the 39-year-old No Doubt artist and the 43-year-old Bush rocker admitted that they would like a daughter, the singing couple said they are too tired to even think about having another child right now. “Well that would seem logical, but then again, so would sleep!
