specdude Posted September 2, 2013 Posted September 2, 2013 my gosh 4 more episodes. Not much time left for much at this pace. Quote
PinkCouture Posted September 2, 2013 Posted September 2, 2013 Initial thoughts on tonight's episode: - The rabid dog is Jesse - Walt w/ a gun trying to be all stealthy entering his house was just funny - Jr. being so oblivious is hard to watch. I understand kids who look up to their parents cannot imagine them doing anything bad or wrong, so they tend to overlook anything that contradicts their opinions & POV. However, this is getting ridiculous! - I wonder what Jesse meant by "I'm gonna get you where you really live": http://cdn.uproxx.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/09/jesse-gone2.gif - I am really hoping Jesse makes it to the end but with each episode I get more & more pessimistic : http://oi43.tinypic.com/2j0cw34.jpg - The fact he is getting involved with the Nazis again cannot be good. He is digging himself a bigger hole and putting his familyy in more danger. Quote
specdude Posted September 2, 2013 Posted September 2, 2013 I think Jesse means he is going to get walt's money pile. Although its hard to imagine how he would. They are really playing up the father son angle between Jesse and Walt. Also Walt and Walt Jr. Perhaps this will come to a choice for Walt.Or maybe a confrontation between Jesse and Walt Jr. Frankly its getting a little boring. They really need to get on with it. That whole scene with the psychologist seemed like a waste of time. Quote
PinkCouture Posted September 2, 2013 Posted September 2, 2013 ^ I was thinking it is... Walt's empire (pride). We all know how bat-shit he gets when he is not the top dog or when there is stiff competition. I am not sure how Jesse could go after that either b/c it would require him to cook again. Considering he is working w/ Hank I doubt that would happen. Although I would love to see one last cook for a proper "for old times' sake" sendoff I have two thoughts in regards to your speculation. Maybe Saul put trackers on the barrels and somehow Jesse finds out. Or Jesse & Hank figures out the lottery contains coordinates.I agree this episode was a bit "meh". 15 minutes into the show I was hoping the episode would end already. I do think it was a necessary episode to set us up for what's to come. The scene with Marie at the shrink was unnecessary. I would have rather see more of Jesse's confession---not that that would improve the episode significantly. I have a feeling the next episode is going to be "meh" as well but based on what Anna Gunn said in an interview, no major characters die in the first 4 episodes. Which mean at least one person dies in the next one! That is something to look forward to I am expecting (or maybe I am just hoping) the last 2-3 episodes to be more exciting (Y) Quote
specdude Posted September 2, 2013 Posted September 2, 2013 I just watched next weeks preview and it does look to be "game on"....finally. I'm really wondering if Todd and co turn on Walt. That would really set the whole thing off. Anyways we know he gets out of there alive and comes back for the ricin in the house. Which tells me he must feel the need to cover his tracks still at that point.Which would mean that Hank STILL wouldn't have made a case against him. I found it odd that they didn't trail jesse to the bathroom at Hanks house. He could have bolted out the window! heck he may even have made a phone call.So many questions, so little time Quote
Michael* Posted September 3, 2013 Posted September 3, 2013 I've only recently made my first foray into 'Breaking Bad', but I'm assuming the show eventually ends as follows - Walt goes into witness protection, changes his name, and gets married. And so begins 'Malcolm in the Middle'. Here is another one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nMWdz1cANo0 Quote

Walt is really pushing his luck getting involved with Nazi criminal murders. I predict Todd & Co will either kidnap or kill Walt's family. I really hope Hank doesn't nab or kill Walt b/c that would lame! I had the same though about Jesse! I was surprised they didn't follow him to the bathroom and stand outside the door. He could have so easily bolted or done something counterproductive. This episodes had so many holes Quote
PinkCouture Posted September 5, 2013 Posted September 5, 2013 The pink teddy bear... made 2 appearances in the recent episode reddit.com/r/breakingbad Quote
specdude Posted September 7, 2013 Posted September 7, 2013 Well its almost that time again. Thinking this through I suspect there will be some kind of major triangle confrontation that involves all parties where Hank is forced to protect Walt and family instead of arresting them to save their lives from the Nazis.HAnk will kill the nazies and Todd. . Most likely it will happen in the desert. Perhaps the nazis will force walt to give up the location of his cash in return for walts family as hostages, and Hank and co will follow them out there.. Then Walt will flee w/$ with family via Saul new identity dude Anyways time will tell.. Quote

Then Walt will flee w/$ with family via Saul new identity dude Anyways time will tell.. I think you are on to something I was thinking about the last scene of the last episode... I don't think the "job" is to kill Jesse. I know at this point Walt is pretty much full on Heisenberg, and he has put Jesse through a lot of distress with his manipulations & inconsideration. However I don't see him killing Jesse. He might do it inadvertently but not on purpose. Perhaps it is my wishful thinking that they would eventually reconcile b/c they are a dynamic duo. They need each other...ok, maybe Walt needs Jesse slightly more than the vice versa. It is when they are together are they the strongest--- "United [they] stand, divided [they] fall". A huge chunk of the show's back story is their relationship. The series has placed emphasis on their joint strength and the stabilizing quality Jesse has on Walt. An example was the conversation about minerals when the Whites were over at the Schrader's house. Walt said "...through a range of colors--purple, green, blue--but it's most stable state is plus two... which is usually pale pink." I was also thinking more about the scene where Jesse excused himself to use the bathroom. Something about that scene seemed odd. I get the feeling there is more we didn't see. Maybe Jesse overheard Hank's convo w/ Gomie about if Walts kills Jesse at least they would have it on film. Also, the camera was at a weird angle behind Jesse's chair for a brief moment: There has to be a reason why they would have a shot like this. I don't see Hank being the one to take down Walt because that would be a lazy way to end the series. Also, most BB fans don't like Hank so to have him take down Walt would cause major dissatisfaction. With that said, I think you are right. The Nazi will do something threatening and cause Walt & his family to be in grave danger. Hank will probably get involved to protect the Whites---most likely helping them "escape" and get new IDs (from Saul's vacuum cleaner guy). Although I do have a feeling something will happen to Skylar, Jr. & Holly, and Walt will end up alone. This is EPIC! http://coub.com/view/xci5nts Love it!!! Especially Gus' confused face Quote

specdude Posted September 9, 2013 Posted September 9, 2013 well i got 2 things right. the location, and "game on!!!!" lol Quote
PinkCouture Posted September 9, 2013 Posted September 9, 2013 ^ Indeed you did Nice work buddy!!! Initial thoughts and predictions... I think it is very likely (like you predicted) Hank will kill Todd during the shootout and that would obviously anger the Nazis. They will hold Walt responsible and cause mad hell to him & his family. Walt will have no choice but to use Saul's vacuum cleaner guy. - I hope Gomie dies in the shootout. He has survived way too long on the show - I wouldn't mind if Hank dies during the shootout too. I think it would make the plot more exciting and interesting.- Doubt Jesse would die in the shootout. I feel he should survive at least until the 2nd to last episode if not the last.- Todd is probably a goner. If not during the shootout then by the end of the series. I don't see him surviving. Maybe him & Lydia can share a grave considering he got the hots for her - I am pessimistic Skylar will make it to the end. Jr might survive. Holly will probably survive. The next episode is called "Ozymandias". It is a poem by Percy Bysshe Shelley about the inevitable downfall of great & powerful leaders their empire(s). Here is a BB promo with BryCra reciting the poem: 3 more episodes left It should be pretty much a vertical high-speed downfall from now on  Quote

But maybe gets shot in the process. Maybe Hank is forced to give up Walt to survive. Walt takes his phone for the evidence. . Leaving Hank with no evidence. Maybe Hank becomes a hostage I think Todd survives because there is going to be a time when he tries to protect Lydia. Maybe from his uncle. It's so hard to see Hank dying because he is the main guy chasing them. The issue of the buried $ has got to come into play right now. it would be classic if the nazis got the barrels of cash but them it turned out later they were emptied by Sauls guys lol Saul may get his security guy from the house with help from carrot top. This would be yet another problem for Hank. Hanks wife is now a prime suspect to take out walt imo. But perhaps ends up killing Skylar or more likely walt jr. Dang so many possibilities. need more time to plot lol Quote
PinkCouture Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 I am pretty sure this is from the next episode... - Same outfit as desert shootout - Notice the barrel in the trunk -- wonder where are the rest of the barrels? Maybe the Nazis took them? - This is what Walt tells Jr in this scene: "Listen. I need you to come inside and pack right now" Dirt on his face from all the digging Other speculations: - Since they are on a reservation, perhaps the tribal police shows up and stops the gunfight? Even if they do show up I doubt the Nazis would be scared. It's BB so you never know. - I just re-watched the shootout scene. Before any shots were fired you see Jesse opening the car door. Once shots were fired Jesse was MIA from the rest of the scene. I think he escaped. - BryCra said during ComicCon the M60 is used to protect someone. I think it will be either his children or Jesse from the Nazis. I am hoping he will use it to protect Jesse b/c I am #TeamWaltHeartsJesse and it is the least he could do for all the suffering he has put Jesse through. It will be his redemption before he dies---making a wrong more right. - According to IMDB these are the characters who will return the next episode (probably is flashback): Krazy-8, Gale, Jane, Mike and Tuco. ------------------------------------------------------------ A FlashBack (no pun inteded ) Pink teddies checking out Walt's ass Quote
