PIP PROPHET:

Hi, It appears that none of those agencies have employed the woman in the Asos pictures that I posted above. (the blonde)

she doesn't seem very high fashion though, I would think she does more commercial shoots. Magazines, summer dresses etc..

Any Ideas?

Most of the models with those agencies are commercial models. A lot of editorial models do catalog work too especially for better catalogs like asos especially the girls starting out. Cara delevigne has worked for asos as well as other vogue models like gia johnson singh. It's not like the 80s. You can do both. Look at models Polaroids. Portfolios can be deceiving.

I see, Thank you.

I am very good at recognising faces and I can say with 99.9% certainty that she is not listed on any one of those agencies websites.

I suspect she may have a friend in the business and may have gone through unconventional channels to be shot with Asos.

ASOS only uses profesional models. The model must have an agency. She might no longer be represented by an agency in London. My guess is she doens't look like the images in her portfolio. A lot of editorial  models have images that do not appear to be them. You also have to look at the new faces sections as well as the commercial and/or classic boards. I can say with 100% certainty she is a professional model. ASOS only uses top girls, ie other well known ecommerce girls or high fashoin models just starting out. I am familiar with this brand and their booking process. They don't just use anyone.

I believe that is Tasha Franken with Elite Models London.

she looks a lot different because Elite is marketing her as an editorial model. so when you look at her portfolio you wouldn't think she was doing commercial work.

Actually, I don't think it's her !

They look a bit too different.

Also, if you notice the Jawline, in the asos photo's the Jawline is more squared and masculine and with Tasha, her jaw is definitely more feminine and pointed towards the end. Also non of Tashas photographs indicate a dimple in the chin which can be seen on some of The Asos images?

Also, notice the LIPS they are very different on all other photos compared to Asos, there are noticeable lines on the sides of the mouth on the cheeks.

I agree though they appear similar from some angles and both have the same colour eyes, hair and generally body and face shape.

Could coincidental case of michael sheen and simon pegg dopplegangers

Also if there is no doubt of it, which I have yet to see, could they not be sisters?

Factoring in multiple shots, If that is not a different girl then all I can say is that the Asos photographer and the make-up artist are Amazing*

@ PIP PROPHET : PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING

I would like to present you with some evidence and then you can tell me your opinion of it.

This is 'Tasha' on ASOS:

http://www.asos.com/au/Mango/Mango-Soho-Town-T-Shirt/Prod/pgeproduct.aspx?iid=2491678&xr=1&mk=VOID&r=3

http://www.asos.com/au/ASOS/ASOS-Crop-Top-With-Open-Back-And-Batwing/Prod/pgeproduct.aspx?iid=2952355&xr=1&mk=VOID&r=3

Please note she looks very different to the Original Asos model that I posted with.

In addition, she would be the only Asos model I know of who looks markedly different on the same site! (as you can surely agree, on Asos you can tell for sure if it is a particular model wearing particular clothes (I believe they do this because their software-tech noticed a long time ago that a customer is more likely to buy clothes that a particular model is wearing if they like that model, or have bought clothes that the specific model was wearing before, and therfore, continuity in appearance is important for ads/cookies etc.

There is also More evidence. You can see the difference in the Walk (video shoots) of the two models on Asos. However I can't find the Original Asos girl's

Pages were she is has video shoots. However I did find updated Asos images of her with new clothes etc. so please see those links below:

Not like I am obsessing, but when my mind has a feeling that it is right then
I get a bit frantic! haha

So, further evidence is that:

  • Hair is different,
  • more visible shoulder blades
  • no gap in her teeth
  • nose is sharper
  • different eye brows
  • sharper cheek bones
  • different ears

she has freckles/ moles  ,sparsely spreaded on her whole torsoe which asos girl does not

also if she was such a cameleon she would appear different in some of
her other shoots whereas the only shots she looks different in are the asos
one I presented, therefore coming to the conclusion that it is not her.

Of course anything is possible, and like I said if it is her then its an
interesting photo-anomaly **

!!!

So, now decide for yourself, here are more photographs of the Original post girl, and I really can't see the resemblance now between these Images and
Tasha Franken            ???

However although the differences are definitely there (at least in the shot at the time) and visible differences such as the the op-girl having a THINNER FACE and also noticeable BIGGER EARS & LONGER EYEBROWS. I can certainly see why they could be confused.

for example these two images from behind:

http://www.asos.com/asos/asos-sleeveless-skater-dress-with-plunge-neck/prod/pgeproduct.aspx?iid=4493697&clr=Black&searchterm=dress

VS

http://www.asos.com/asos-petite/asos-petite-midi-skater-dress-with-polo-neck-and-cut-away-arm/prod/pgeproduct.aspx?iid=4507109&clr=Black&searchterm=dress

as you can see both have a black dress and visibly similar hair tone, and skin tone, though I am not sure if this is generalised touching-up software used for blondes*

Here are also more images of the Op-girl VS TASHA:

TASHA -

ORIGINAL-OP-GIRL. -

So I personally think they are not the same people, but of course with anything I could be wrong. I would like the input of others on this thread also as I am curious if a person could appear SO different just by angles and clothes (presuming they do not undergo a professional -MI6 level make up change)

Also, to conclude my post I would end saying that Tasha look more like Penny from the Big bang & Op-girl more like Denise Richards when she pouts.

Thanks.

Can anyone ID this ASOS model?

Yes. On the previous page there was quite a big thread started by me, she look similar to the girl I am trying to ID.

The name you are looking for I think is Tasha Franken (Natasha)

Defo not Tasha.

Which agencies have you checked mate?

Keep an eye on the Asos instagram account - sometimes the models get tagged on the posts.  That's how another poster found Emily English who was not with any common agent that was listed (I searched high and low everywhere!) until recently when she appeared in Leni's books.
