Tagold Posted September 24, 2024 Posted September 24, 2024 My scan. A pure white background version of this image was published in Vogue UK, 1996. Quote
missparker7 Posted September 25, 2024 Posted September 25, 2024 "Früher schön, heute stark" - myself Germany January 2022 by Irving Penn, Pierre Toussaint, Arthur Elgort - also showing Brooke Shields, Alek Wek, Amber Valletta, Linda Evangelista, Stephanie Seymour, Helena Christensen Quote
Tagold Posted September 29, 2024 Posted September 29, 2024 This is a familiar 1993 image, but I've rarely seen it in color and never in this quality Quote
alaflamoute Posted September 29, 2024 Posted September 29, 2024 Something tells me it's been (poorly) AI coloured. 1 hour ago, Tagold said: This is a familiar 1993 image, but I've rarely seen it in color and never in this quality Quote

Especially when I scan models I do not collect. However I would bother to scan the entire letters only if it is a major fashion cover. Otherwise it is pointless. Photographs are important, not letters...lol Quote
Tagold Posted October 14, 2024 Posted October 14, 2024 Which one do you prefer? If I were an archivist, I suppose I'd prefer the image on the left. I think many here might prefer the image on the left. That's the original image and therefore it is the authentic image. But me, I only care about Christy. I don't care about the magazine, or whatever Christy has been hired to sell. I don't care about "The Princess of Wales" or "Warhol's Animal Crackers." I have no attachment to logos or barcodes. I just want the picture of Christy, free of filigree and irrelevant distractions. So, I go to any length to remove all that "crap" because I hate it and I want it gone from the picture. Quote
