M--- Posted April 23, 2008 Posted April 23, 2008 I was swimming on Sunday again after not doing sports (except for some workout) for nearly three weeks due to being sick. Tomorrow I will have physical education in school and after that I'll go swimming again yeah i go to the gym three times a week and the other days i run or dance. i love to swim too, but only in summer, when the sun is shining, you knowand i must lose 10 or 20 pounds i'm 168cm, i think it's 5'6 and 59 kg, maybe 130?! i don't know how much it is in pounds... i'm from germany and i want to get down to 52 to, which i used to be 2 years ago... so i try to eat not over 1000 calories a day and eat very healthy, less fat and sugar... and of cours the sport sorry for my bad english guys To get the pounds you just have to double the kg. So 59 kg is 118lbs and 52kg is 104lbs. Sounds like you do a lot of sport! (Y) Your English is good, no need to worry. I'm from Germany too [German on] Dein Englisch ist doch gut, kein Grund sich sorgen zu machen. Um Pounds zu kriegen muss man einfach nur die kg Anzahl verdoppeln. Und dein BMI liegt völlig im normalen Bereich wenn ich mich nicht irre... Also kein Grund sich dick zu fühlen [German off] Quote

moiselles Posted April 29, 2008 Posted April 29, 2008 Recently, for about the last 4 weeks (except for last week when I was sick), I started jogging around my neighborhood, which is very hilly. I haven't really lost weight (I think I'm gaining muscle), but I swear my butt looks sooooo much better in just the few short weeks I've been jogging. I haven't even gone to the gym in a month. But jogging around my hilly neighborhood has done wonders for my butt! Quote
Psylocke Posted April 29, 2008 Posted April 29, 2008 I alternate between the Core Secrets workout with Gunner Peterson, Girls Next Door workout dvd, and workouts I see in Shape magazine. When I was in the Marine Corps, our physical fitness days were Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays. Now that I am out, I have just kept up that routine with the workouts I mentioned. I couldn't diet even if I tried. I am not disciplined enough to count calories or give up my favorite foods. I figure why bother? No point in being thin and miserable because I can't eat what I want to. I haven't weighed myself in two years and I even though I am curious to know how much I weigh, I'm not too concerned with it as long as I am healthy and happy. Quote

Psylocke Posted April 30, 2008 Posted April 30, 2008 My sister lost 30 pounds from doing yoga and is soon to be a model for the clothing line her yoga instructor is coming out with. I wish we had a decent yoga class near me. Quote
hai kae Posted May 3, 2008 Posted May 3, 2008 So my workout is basically a huge combination of everything.I run two miles every morning to my local work out center then swim a 500.Then I have cheerleading practice every other day which warm ups and conditioning consists of a lot of legs, abs, and arm strengthening. Lifting, crunches, pull ups. Oh and yoga and flexibility training.I also surf as much as I can and that is quite the work out. And I am also a lifeguard and that requires constant practice and continual training.Needless to say I don't lose that much weight and I basically stay around the same all year, I also eat about 3000 calories a day, more or less considering the day. So I suppose it works out well. Quote
irenistiQ Posted September 1, 2008 Posted September 1, 2008 Is it ok to do some mild exercise or any exercise at all when you're sick? Quote

mbinebri Posted September 4, 2008 Posted September 4, 2008 Lupe: Marisa has said in past interviews (and an SI video from 2005 or so) that cycling is her main exercise. But now that she's taken up boxing (which a few of the other Angels probably not-so-coincidentally started doing soon after), she probably does both. Quote
rockTheSky Posted September 8, 2008 Posted September 8, 2008 Wow, I am surprised Marissa Miller works out lol. Most women with 'perfect' figures like that have them naturally. Quote

Most women with 'perfect' figures like that have them naturally.I don't think so.You can be naturally thin or fit, but you have to work hard to have abs and muscles.I wasn't really talking so much about being toned as much as I was getting at how slim they are and how perfectly shaped the silhouette is.Of course, ya, you gotta put in the effort if you want to have toned abs and such.
