i started reading the books after watching the first episode wich i liked so much, but after reading the books i have to say that the tv serie is doing a pretty basic adaptation of them. the dialogues and scenes are very compressed and they only take the esence of the plot, and because of that, the characters are not so charismatic and inmersive as they are in the books. Some missing characters as well , maybe to lower the cost i guess , but they are missed too. I wonder if the producers will recreate the world and society of Game of Thrones as it is in the book , surely it is not for the faint of heart but i'm curious if they will be that valiant , although we've seen some glimse of it in the first and last episode.

overall a good adaptation but in my opinion not the definitive.Btw, my favourite characters are Tyrion and Daenerys

i like this show alot.

the thing that boggles my mind is thatpretty much all the characters are kinda douchebags *with the exception of daenerys and arya

but i still cant stop watching!

im very excited to see where the show will take us in the upcoming season

There was a lot of action is tonight's episode.

Catelyn's sister was super creepy and so was her son.

I was all  when the Hound's brother

killed his horse

.

Even though I still dislike Cersei

for what she did to Lady

, I felt kind of bad for her in this episode.

The scene between

Renly and Loras

(I think those are their names) was pretty hot, IMO.

I wasn't very happy that there was no Danaerys/Khal/Jon in this episode.

So far my favorite characters are Danaerys, Tyrion, Arya, Jon, Sansa, Ned, and Khal Drogo (because of Jason Momoa).

i see the producers are taking some lincenses with the screeplay , the

Loras and Renly

scene was like  and it seems they are going to show all the disturbing scenes as they are in the books  i liked this episode

This episode was awesome.

Even though

Viserys deserved to die

, I was still a little sad

to watch his death (with his screaming and all). I will miss Harry Lloyd and his facial expressions. I liked the way he died, though; it was very poetic.

Daenerys was pretty badass in this entire episode.

"He was no dragon. Fire cannot kill a dragon."

The Moon Door and the cells at the Eryie were really terrifying (I'm afraid of heights), and

the fight between Bronn and the other guy was pretty intense.

Oh Sansa...

I loved Ned's lightbulb face when

he realized that Joffery is Cersei and Jamie's son.

Arya was great as usual.

I have already seen the 7th episode, but I'll save most of my thoughts on it until it actually premieres. The only thing I will say about it now is that the shit really hits the fan.

this show has brought about a first for me... im now lusting after a dwarf.

my favorite line from this past sundays ep... 'theres only one god, and his name is death, and theres only one thing we say to death- not today '

freakin epic

daenerys is getting more and more intriguing as she finds her place/power
