Another suggestion: since the spoiler tag is also used to hide social media videos (my understanding is hiding videos helps with scrolling through threads), how about removing the tinted pink/purple box on a post that automatically kicks in when the spoiler tag is used?

 

I'm guessing the original intent of the tinted pink/purple box is to flag as potentially explicit or nude material, which the spoiler tag doesn't always represent.

 

Should be a quick code change I would suspect.

The site performance seems to be slowing down and degrading in the last 24 hours.

I have also noticed that the site has been way slower than usual for the past 2 days.

It got better today but is slowing down again today.  I wonder if the mods or administrator are aware and are working on it.

Yea I was looking at it this morning but it appears to be back. Not sure what’s going on. Looking into it.

@maddog107 Thanks.  It seems to have improved quite considerably literally in just the last few minutes.  Prior to that, it was really laggy.

@maddog107 Ugh... it's slow again.  Simple things like clicking on notifications or tagging someone (like I'm doing on this post) are taking very long.

The thumbnail images are missing from the pages.   Is this a system change or a setting change?

We upgraded a major version so I need to recode a bunch of stuff. I will let you know once its working

@maddog107 I just noticed the spoiler tag appears to be missing from the post options.

@maddog107You are probably aware of it but here is what I noticed/missing since the update. 

- the activity stream is not working

- i can't see my activity on my profile

- the different font options is missing

- is this the new format for the avatar or are they gonna be bigger like before? 

- when uploading pictures, when you post them they are all one below another instead of next to each other. You have to add them one at a time manually for them to be beside each other (see attached picture)

 

New version looks great 😊

Yea I am still looking for the source of the issue. I think its the DB but havent been able to figure it out.

Before the last upgrade, threads where I had not posted were shown with a large dot, threads where I had posted where shown with a star.

 

I have noticed that, after the last upgrade, threads where I have posted not necessarily show a star next to them.
