Hollander Posted February 24, 2024 Posted February 24, 2024 I find it very disappointing that she has not walked any shows so far while she is working on her comeback. She skipped 🇺🇸New York and 🇮🇹Milan. She hasn't even been present to attend Fashion Week. I hope for a surprise in 🇫🇷Paris, for example to walk exclusively for Miu Miu or Louis Vuitton. This way she also shows the industry that clients are still interested in booking her for shows and maybe campaigns as well. But so far she's only done multi-girl photoshoots for magazines + VS multi-girl campaign. We don't even know if high fashion brands are still interested in booking Doutzen. She should start walking on the runways and participate in as many shows as possible, just like Irina Shayk. This way, she can demonstrate that high fashion brands are still interested in her. Quote

Mille Backer Posted February 29, 2024 Posted February 29, 2024 SHE IS BACK… First time for Chloé and closed the show! Quote
Hollander Posted February 29, 2024 Posted February 29, 2024 What a lovely surprise! 🩷 Now Chloé can be added to the list of big shows she has walked for. Mille Backer Posted February 29, 2024 Posted February 29, 2024 Having her close this show was an excellent strategy, it's a debut that everyone was watching... 13 minutes ago, Hollander said: Doutzen Kroes walked shows for: Alaïa, Anna Sui, Alberta Ferretti, Alexander McQueen, Balmain, BCBG Max Azria, Belstaff, Blumarine, Bottega Veneta, Byblos, Calvin Klein, Carolina Herrera, Chloé, Christian Dior, Christian Lacroix, Dolce & Gabbana, Donna Karan, Dsquared2, Emanuel Ungaro, Emilio Pucci, Etro, Fendi, Givenchy, Gucci, Hugo Boss, Isabel Marant, Jacquemus, Jean Paul Gaultier, John Galliano, Karl Lagerfeld, Lanvin, Loewe, Louis Vuitton, Max Mara, Michael Kors, Mugler, Miss Sixty, Missoni, Miu Miu, Nicole Miller, Nina Ricci, Oscar De La Renta, Paco Rabanne, Prada, Proenza Schouler, Ralph Lauren, Roberto Cavalli, Salvatore Ferragamo, Sonia Rykiel, Sportmax, Stella McCartney, Tommy Hilfiger, Valentino, Versace, Victoria's Secret, Viktor & Rolf, Yves Saint Laurent, Zac Posen & more. Now there are only NINE brands left that she should walk, I think they would be essential in her career: Chanel, Hermès, Céline, Balenciaga, Giorgio Armani, Moschino, Burberry, Marc Jacobs and Tom Ford. PS: Schiaparelli would be cool because of the different looks! Quote

She lost a lot of weight and the older she gets the more bone mass and fat we lose. But she is still beautiful! PS: The angle of the photo is not the same, if you look at the older photos, she always had this shape, the cheekbones that seem to accentuate the shape of her face, giving the impression of being very different. Hollander Posted February 29, 2024 Posted February 29, 2024 She walked with her chin up. That's how her jaw looks when she does that. Comparable to her F/W 2005.06 Valentino campaign by Meisel. On Instagram, there is a video of her at the Chloé show. https://www.instagram.com/reel/C37Zz0rL8UV/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link Quote

Hollander Posted March 1, 2024 Posted March 1, 2024 That style doesn't suit her at all. And .... wearing sunglasses in winter?? Imagine if she dressed like that for an important casting. That's really not a good first impression. You can tell she doesn't care about fashion & doesn't look at fashion magazines because you just don't see this mess in fashion magazines. In 2005 & 2006, when she used to walk all the fashion weeks, she ALWAYS looked good and classic/timeless, which suited her perfectly. After that, it went downhill and she often wore sloppy, loose and oversized clothing and a mix match of everything. Very messy. Quote
