This is the consecutive year that a model from Perth has won (with Gemma Bidstrup @ Scene Models taking the 2001 title). Discovered last year by Vivien’s Model Management, Nicole has made a giant leap in the world of modelling after just one year. She has been one of the most popular models in the Australian fashion scenes, especially after her sensational appearance at the 2002 Mercedes Australian Fashion Week in Sydney last May. As the winner of ‘Search For a Supermodel’, Nicole flew to Punta Cana in the Caribbean island of the Dominican Republic yesterday to compete in the international final of 'Ford’s Supermodels of the World'. The final competition will be held on December 7th. Nicole has a very good chance of winning one of the five prizes offered by Ford Models (The prizes are modelling contracts worth: 1st 250,000 USD, 2nd 150,000 USD, 3rd 100,000 USD, 4th 75,000 USD and 5th 50,000 USD).
