Thanks for introducing me to her. She is skilled at what she does.

Have you been watching her new show? Both episodes are on BZ now... :)

That's an interesting shot as she pulls the mannequin thing off well  .

Sure thing  . I'm not exactly sure when she stopped modeling since I don't know anything about her in general aside from charity work and I haven't kept up with her thread. Of course I probably did notice her absence in the magazines without thinking about it consciously :ninja: .

Whether on the runway, print, backstage or walking down the street, she pretty much always gives the camera something. Its hard to find her being content to just look at the camera which is why she became prime muse material I assume.

I think you previously mentioned some 'coming soon' that I was looking forward to, but I can't remember who they were now :chicken:

Have you got enough for a Martha gallery? I know you've had some sprinkled throughout some previous posts, but I have a bit of a blind spot for her.. I'm interested in seeing more though.

Donny,

I don't remember either. I thought I already posted it.

I'm going to post a few extra galleries this time..

As far as fashion weeks go, I haven't saved all that much yet. I was waiting for them to end, so I wouldn't have to repeatedly check model and new model threads..

This is definitely one of the more risque group of sets that I have posted. It is also completely random, and without deliberation. :)

Thanks for watching...

Eliza Sys has a 12/10 body...the world deserves to know... :p Her body is up there with Gisele and other supermodels IMHO.

Donny,

Xenia has done a few good shots although I don't follow her thread. :)

You're welcome everybody. :-) I also have an Ale. A VS lingere gallery 2005-2007 already made.

There's been a lot of new photos and models as of late due to fashion weeks. So much that I can barely keep up. Would anybody like to share their recent favorites?

Do you like other east asian model faces? South Korean, China, etc.? How do their models compare to the Japanese?

^Apologies for the delay. Ethnically, the Japanese and Koreans are very similar apparently - I don't want to drift into sciences that my knowledge teeters on the edge of(!), but they are supposed to come from the same geographical stock. Culturally though, of course, they are different - and South Korean Gravure is a far more staid and tame affair. I don't see, or know that much about them - which is probably a consequence of that. There are many Race Queens/Booth Girls that are famous there though (Hwang Mi Hee being my favourite, she has a thread here), and 'K-Pop' and it's female stars are maybe better known than 'J-Pop' (even more so now after Psy).

I'm sure I don't need to tell you that Chinese models are enjoying the kind of success now that Brasilians did a decade ago. As far as Gravure goes, they have a similar kind of thing in MOKO which is an agency that caters for that kind of modelling. It's very difficult to follow though, and keeping tabs on any particular model can be a nightmare (unless, I guess, you know your mandarin!). They are also very fond of photoshopping, often leaving the ladies looking particularly doll-like.

Here's a couple I quite like though, Wang U-Lin and Li Ying Zhi:

Before I get to you guys: Something :wah:. The harddrive I saved all my fashion models photos had died. I did not deem my photo file to be important enough for a backup copy so it will be lost. However, I still possess backup files of all junkyard contributions. I also believe that all the links you see here should work.

That is too bad, as this thread never moved fast enough for me to post the great majority of my collections and I probably won't see most of it ever again. It's impossible for me to estimate, but I think I only posted no more than 1/3rd of the model photos I had.

You're welcome guys

]^Apologies for the delay. Ethnically, the Japanese and Koreans are very similar apparently - I don't want to drift into sciences that my knowledge teeters on the edge of(!), but they are supposed to come from the same geographical stock.

You know, it cracks me up to see 'Old World' (particularly British) people talk about ethnography and genetic history from 3,000 years ago. It's all little more than 'informed' speculation at best. The history of the 'Welsh' 'Sicilians' or some Germanic tribe...ROFL! Everyone is a mongrel- and that's what I believe!

I've seen a lot of Japanese and Korean people and they do look different so they can't be that similar. Koreans are definitely taller, for instance. I know little about their pop culture figures and models but I did like "Lee Hyori". There are pretty K-pop stars but I haven't checked in a decade...

But to be direct, I would really like to see if they have models and a stock of talent that can compare to the top models that we are interested in right now. Women that pass the standards for appearing in Vogue & elite runways, for instance.

I haven't seen it yet (although I haven't looked yet, either). Where are their tall high fashion models?

There is a stock of elite Chinese models that appear in Vogue China and other magazines (but they're all chinese). Out of these girls, only Liu Wen is the real superstar. I checked MOKO but these girls aren't tall or elegant enough for vogue. They're more like glamour models or the models we see 2 or 3 BZ pages and then disappear forever...

Culturally though, of course, they are different - and South Korean Gravure is a far more staid and tame affair. I don't see, or know that much about them - which is probably a consequence of that.
