Lena Dunham Responds To Accusations That She Sexually Abused Her Sister

Dunham went on a self-described “rage spiral” on Saturday, calling the accusations against her disgusting.

Kevin D. Williamson, a columnist for the conservative-leaning magazine National Review, accused Lena Dunham this weekend of admitting to sexual abuse in her new memoir Not That Kind of Girl.

Williamson points to a passage in the memoir where Dunham details how she sexually experimented with her little sister, Grace. Williamson also calls Dunham’s parents child abusers.

Dunham writes of casually masturbating while in bed next to her younger sister, of bribing her with “three pieces of candy if I could kiss her on the lips for five seconds … anything a sexual predator might do to woo a small suburban girl I was trying.” At one point, when her sister is a toddler, Lena Dunham pries open her vagina — “my curiosity got the best of me,” she offers, as though that were an explanation.

Truth Revolt, a blog run by Conservative political commentator Ben Shapiro, published “Lena Dunham Describes Sexually Abusing Her Little Sister,” a follow-up piece to the National Review’s. The author Bradford Thomas writes:

In one particularly unsettling passage, Dunham experimented with her six-year younger sister’s vagina. “This was within the spectrum of things I did,” she writes.

In the collection of nonfiction personal accounts, Dunham describes using her little sister at times essentially as a sexual outlet, bribing her to kiss her for prolonged periods and even masturbating while she is in the bed beside her.

Here’s a photo of Dunham’s passage where she refers to herself as a “sexual predator.”

On Saturday, Dunham responded to claims of sexual abuse with a “rage spiral,” calling the accusations disgusting.

I was reading up about this today. It's not abuse. She was a child and really didn't know what she was doing. It's not as if it was a grown person who's intent was for sexual purposes. I mean she was a curious kid. I think the people exaggerated a little. However she probably should have thought twice before sharing that in her book. Everyone was a kid once. We all didn't know about that kind of stuff and we all were curious.

I considered that she was too young to know what she was doing but I think she was old enough to know better even if her curiosity was natural.  Her confession was also made in the context of a whole unhealthy relationship with her sister.  The provided page of her book makes it seem like they had a strange relationship for years.  I find it disturbing.

That situation would apply to her since if she did the whole looking at her sister's bits when her sister was 1, and then continued exhibiting unhealthy behaviours by trying to dominate her sister by bribing to kiss her and whatever, her sister would at least have to be past 5 years old for that to happen, and based off the stuff I managed to find she did it until she was 12 or something, and then there's the whole thing about Lena touching herself next to Grace when she was like 17.

I shared a bed with my sister, Grace, until I was seventeen years old. She was afraid to sleep alone and would begin asking me around 5:00 P.M. every day whether she could sleep with me. I put on a big show of saying no, taking pleasure in watching her beg and sulk, but eventually I always relented. Her sticky, muscly little body thrashed beside me every night as I read Anne Sexton, watched reruns of SNL, sometimes even as I slipped my hand into my underwear to figure some stuff out.

She basically referred that her own behaviour was that of a sexual predator but when people called her a predator she goes all whiny, especially because of the fact she did the stuff she did so she could have power or control over her sister, like who the hell finds rejoice in in taking advantage of your little sister's grief over the fact your grandfather died? Not normal at all. She wasn't joking about the motorcycle chic part either.

 

But nope, Lena's just going around blaming the fact a Conservative wrote the article accusing her of her actions and acting like it's an attack on her liberal views

Lara Stone is getting death threats from Beliebers for that Calvin Klein shoot

Apparently her hands were too close to his "d***" for their liking.

Lara Stone, the model who was paid actual money to pose with Justin Bieber for his new Calvin Klein campaign, is now getting death threats from Beliebers. In case you’re not familiar, Beliebers are the same people who wanted Anne Frank dead because Justin mentioned that she was a “great girl”, so they’re obviously a really level-headed bunch.
