NameDisplay Posted March 19, 2021 Posted March 19, 2021 She did another pap walk (3-11-21) and no one carried the pics. That tells me she would have had to pay for a media outlet to run the pics. No pics of her with Leo in the Galapagos. https://www.instagram.com/p/CMVASgzDVMJ/ Quote

overboard Posted April 22, 2021 Posted April 22, 2021 im from argentina so i remember seeing her ads here in the shopping malls, she was super blonde and skinny back then. i also remember she got a solo vogue cover even before hailey b (that was before hailey started picking up steam). did she stop modelling bc she gained weight or bc she thought being an actress would be better? it seems like she's a good actress though, she has great reviews for that mickey and the bear movie. but i liked her as a model so its sad to see her gone from that field. Basically both. She did an interview with the LA Times & said she was pressured to lose weight as a model then she auditioned for Eli Roth’s film Death Wish & got the part (likely because Eli’s a close family friend through her stepfather at the time Al Pacino). Then she quit modeling & started focusing on acting. I think she is decent. Also you mean Argentina’s Vogue? Cause she’s never been on Vogue US. Quote
Lilja K Posted April 23, 2021 Posted April 23, 2021 @Coco2020 @overboard If she decided to stay in model business, she would be considered as 'plus size model' now like Barbara Palvin (what I find rediculous, because even if Cami and Barb are 'thicker' than average models, they are not enough thick for being called 'plus size' imo. Ashley Graham - yes, Barbara and Cami - not). Quote

Cami & Barbara are not plus size at all, they’re average sized but in the modeling industry if you’re not a size 0-2 you’re considered “fat” smh the industry has to change its unrealistic body standards. The industry changes slowly, but surely. You can call me a dreamer, but I believe one day we will reach 'every body is perfect' standart. Btw I agree Ashley is really beautiful Quote
Jade Bahr Posted April 23, 2021 Posted April 23, 2021 When I saw those pictures my first thought was how curvy Cami looks. I prefer this look a hundred times over every bone look. Never got that whole forced skinny thing in the model industry. That's probably why I never liked that business. Quote

For me curvy body is an ideal body for women (and Cami's is godly), but some of women are genetically skinny and lean and that's ok. I just wish women were not forced to change their body for standarts (starving for skinny or gettin implants for curvy). I don't want to say we shouldn't take care of our body or we can't go to gym if we want to improve our glute muscles, I just want to we shouldn't be depressed and anxious if we don't look like Cami or someone else. SympathysSilhouette Posted April 24, 2021 Posted April 24, 2021 She is pretty much done as a model, no? I've only seen her in the Death Wish remake in terms of acting, but she wasn't bad in that. Certainly seen a lot worse performances from models who make the jump to acting. Quote

Yes, she was more famous as model than as actress. She got her first acting experience in 2013, but she didn't make a movies till 2018. She don't have many movies yet, but she was decent in Death Wish and Never Goin Back, but in Mickey And The Bear she was really brilliant (movie didn't get so much hype, but it was great tho). She is great in the comedy and in the drama too, all she needs - to do more projects. Her biggest problem is the fear to be typecasted (she said she don't want to stuck in the 'hot chick' role) imo. I can understand, but she needs to start somewhere. Margot Robbie started from 'hot chick' role and look where is she now. Quote

But not everyone can start out with a role like Winter's Bone (Jennifer Lawrence). Like Charlize Theron's earliest credits were stuff like Children of the Corn 3 and Mighty Joe Young. You cannot be too picky at the start. On the other hand, her boyfriend is one of the most powerful actors in Hollywood so he might help her skip a few steps. Quote
