Most of these women are over rated. Nina for example, or how about Marisa, ooh or Kate, maybe Kathy, or Cindy. Want me to continue on that train? They wore swimsuits I'm not quite sure what you expect, but everyone has different tastes and definitions of beauty.

So let's not come out with guns blazing and start throwing out insults. They're beautiful women who were featured in a magazine that men and women have enjoyed for years. There's no over glorification, there's enjoyment. If you don't enjoy it don't look at it, but don't come in here insulting other women, and stating that they are over rated is a back handed, passive aggressive insult at best.

Well said, Pheno!  I couldn't help but laugh at this line: "They wore swimsuits I'm not quite sure what you expect" ... for some reason, I had visions of bikini-clad SI models in a chemistry lab trying to find the cure for all diseases, or bikini-clad SI models building homes for charity.  Or whatever.  

 

I love the discussion going on.  Keep it up... it makes me feel like all of the effort to put together and run this competition is worth it.   :dance:

Marisa (but could be a close match), Elle (could be very close).

Marisa Miller is the champion of the 2013 SI Swimsuit Model Tournament!

 

My spin: Whew!  Marisa and Elle literally went back and forth for the entire voting period.  Marisa would be in the lead slightly, then get overtaken by Elle slightly, then the two would flip-flop again.  At the final bell, it was Marisa who earned the victory and the title.  But, really, is there a wrong choice between these two incredibly hot SI models?

 

Thanks so much for voting and participating in the tournament.  It went well enough where I'm nearly certainly going to do it again later in the year.  Obviously, there will be a new crop of rookies, and rankings/seeds will change because of more appearances & covers from the veterans.  I also developed a system that will factor in the results of every single match of this year's tournament into rankings/seeds for the next one.  (What a great exercise in Excel!)   If you have any suggestions for other ways to improve the tournament, please let me know.
