and most forums' lists suck too, because their userbases are usually very narrow. as in, young boys.

seriously, maybe we should do one, since we have such a diverse userbase, and so gender-balanced.

just off the top of my head, I'd say some number that people could agree on. the more the better. 10 min, 25 max.

and also, some kind of criteria. more than just "hot" or pretty. i.e. some consideration into your choices.

plus from what I've seen, lots of people's lists fluctuate more than my Calvins. so it would also be 'not your top 15 this week' but 'your overall top 15 for the past few months' or something... something a little more big picture.

and that would all be aggregated by numbers, with ties broken in a few ways. wouldn't be too tough if we had a proper voting tool for it (not sure if we do or not)

We did it at another forum (one whose name we rarely mention here) and it was quite a major undertaking and it ended up with alot of bickering, fighting, accusations of cheating, attempts at cheating, and it ended up driving away some members and being totally not worth it in the end. So with that in mind, I would be leary about attempting such a feat. :|
