Guest quasicartes Posted December 26, 2004 Posted December 26, 2004 I need to read Choke, I heard it was a pretty good book, If it's classic Palahniuk then I will like it.Currently I am reading The Golden Compass, the first book in the His Dark Materials set. I'm only a few pages in but it seems interesting so far.Phillip pullman is good read, except until the ending. Quote

fremont Posted December 28, 2004 Posted December 28, 2004 Tobacco Road by Erskine Caldwell. Catcher in the Rye is absolutley astoundingly awesome. I wrote a lengthy paper discussing the buddhist undertones of the book. If you like J.D. Salinger, pick up his short stories book and read"A Perfect Day for Bananafish." Quote
avadakedavra Posted December 28, 2004 Posted December 28, 2004 Fight Club by Chuck Palahniuk then it's onto Invisible Monsters. Quote
