OriginalSin Posted August 28, 2005 Posted August 28, 2005 so far its good...im only on chapter 7...changing perspectives and time period (now vs. 15 yrs ago) but so far its done well...get the sense this book will be a tad unsettling tho...i'll let u know more when im done Quote
OriginalSin Posted August 29, 2005 Posted August 29, 2005 finished reading the bitch posse....i recommend it only if u want to read something of substance thats pretty unsettling but quite real and well written... if u want something with a happy ending or more fluffy...STAY AWAY. i cried when i was done...surprised i'm not still crying...granted i'm a complete sap but the book doesnt have a happy ending at all. OriginalSin Posted September 14, 2005 Posted September 14, 2005 3 girls who call themselves the bitch posse....as adults they no longer talk...u get perspectives from both present day and 15 years b4 as well as from all 3 girls...one is a writer who goes from one destructive relationship to another, one is in a mental institution, and one is married and pregnant...basically u find out why they dont talk anymore, why they are the way they are now, etc etc...it's REALLY good...really well written, but def. not for everyone Quote

Do you have a fave discworld character? i really like all of the watch and also Death! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> rincewind (and the luggage) is probably my favourite character but i don't really like the wizard novels as much as say, the watch ones (jingo is my favourite) or the ones about death (also an awesome character). the wizard novels just seem to be a bunch of things happening around the main characters, whereas the people in the watch actually affect the outcome of the story. if that makes sense.
