RIP_Cabrini_Green Posted August 20, 2015 Posted August 20, 2015 The picture that Pretty posted is insanely gorgeous. That body would have obliterated S.I.....but now, personally, I don't even think I would be excited if she were to be one of the rookies. And I know this conversation has been had 10,000 times on this thread, and is getting obnoxious, but it just seems with every new pic she posts, she gets a little smaller and smaller. But if she says she's happy and healthy then I suppose I should just shut my mouth and be supportive.Rant over. Quote
barbarapalvinscomeback Posted August 20, 2015 Posted August 20, 2015 maybe she doesn't want to be a men's magazine model. She's deleted all pics like that on her Insta. And tweets and reblogs on tumblr feminist things. Not saying a men's magazine model can't be a feminist but maybe she doesn't like sexualization Quote
Derek Zoolander Posted August 20, 2015 Posted August 20, 2015 It's pretty clear that she has Benjamin Button Syndrome. Quote

CandleVixen Posted August 20, 2015 Posted August 20, 2015 Like some have said here, and I have before, if Al is happy with how things are turning out for her, I'm backing her 1000%.But, if it ends up being some other reason (such as agency mismanagement) then I'm gonna be mad. Not that there's anything I could do about it.I'm hoping that Guess brings more for her. Just my opinion, I'm usually wrong. Quote
elfstone Posted August 20, 2015 Posted August 20, 2015 I often look like a 12 year old I'm sure VS will notice her now! Someone ought to check on her bf for symptoms of PTSD Quote
frenchkiki Posted August 20, 2015 Posted August 20, 2015 Benjamin Button.Doutzen would pay millions for her secrets.Push up bras (Y)and being younger than Doozdooz? Quote

And tweets and reblogs on tumblr feminist things. Not saying a men's magazine model can't be a feminist but maybe she doesn't like sexualization Or maybe it's just a thing of her agency. Nope. Alexandria wants nothing with Men's Magazines, it was her choice to go down the HF route. I can 100% guarantee you that she is very happy with the way she looks right now. It's like y'all don't even read the shit she says, this a woman that has stated several times that Doutzen Kroes is her favorite model and that Doutzen has the ideal career so it's always been pretty clear that Alexandria does not want to go the easy commercial way, I get it you all like blondes with big tits but Al does not want to be known just for that, if you want a blonde with big tits go to Charlotte McWhatever's thread? It's tiresome to come here and just read people bitching about the way Alexandria looks, if you don't like her anymore then be gone and let her be. Storm the rant is not directed to you btw, I just wanted to answer your question about her agency. Quote
Prettyphile Posted August 20, 2015 Posted August 20, 2015 Claudia you're missing the point, her drive to be a HF model doesn't seem to be paying off, and for the majority of us it's so frustrating to see her throw what could of been a major commercial career that could of parlayed her into HF go down the toilet, all because she doesn't want to be seen as a men's magazine mode? o.O. She's living that HF lifestyle without the jobs and all the while there are dozens upon dozens of new models who work both HF & Commercial and are booking work back to back, so what's going on with Alex I personally think that because she's into this a year plus now she should reconsider her options a little more and figure out of HF is the way to go, and there's nothing wrong with that. Beautiful girl, and we're all rooting for her still! Quote
2324lebron Posted August 20, 2015 Posted August 20, 2015 I often look like a 12 year old YAY! Young enough to start a HF career. Quote

I get the point of the HF not paying off, what annoys me is that every picture of her gets people bitching about the way she looks over and over again. Is it really necessary to comment the same stuff over and over again? o.o, one thing is saying her career isn't the greatest and another thing is keep bashing the way she looks. I'm the first one to think she's not working as much as she should (or we think she should?). I pray her career takes off this year and that she'll finally be put out of development by January, I do know she has some stuff coming out by winter tho, we just need to be on the look for it. But really, the bitching about the way she looks needs to be over. Also don't call me Claudia, me no likes #daddyissues Quote
Prettyphile Posted August 20, 2015 Posted August 20, 2015 On the bright side people commenting on her social media pictures is keeping her thread alive, cause sadly if none of us said anything this thread would be 10 pages back for days or weeks on end and her hype would begin to wane. Quote

Alexandria wants nothing with Men's Magazines, it was her choice to go down the HF route. I can 100% guarantee you that she is very happy with the way she looks right now. If that was the case why did she go to the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit casting? Hate to break it to you but Sports Illustrated Swim is a men's magazines.. Maybe she doesn't know, Claudia you should pass that on, so she doesn't waste her time with something she wants nothing to do with. The fact is she's had a banned commercial that literally followed the bounce of her breasts, and she felt that was okay. Or how about Roosevelt's where she looked like she was having a good time flaunting a bunch of different sports bikini's. Oh or Beach Bunny. All commercial work, all work that opens doors to other options. If she's always idolized Doutzen and wanted to follow the same career path she never would have done those jobs to begin with. Not to mention her social media pictures, where she was flaunting cleavage all over the place. The fact is, she could have had just as successful of a career if she had modeled for her body type and built a commercial following before attempting to go into high fashion. The sad reality is, she's going more the route of Emily Didonato but without the success. I just find it very hypocritical for you in particular, (Claudia) to come in and basically state that she wants nothing to do with these types of jobs, and yet for us to watch the progression of her career and see a very different trajectory. Yes, she has clearly attempted to go more high fashion, and failed horribly. Either she's not booking the work, or she's booking it and the pictures aren't what the company wants, or she's booked such obscure work that no one has been able to find it. Either way the end result isn't good. I'm hoping this is just mismanagement, however if this was her career choice then her agency did her a disservice in letting her literally run her career, or the rising potential of a career into the ground. Maybe it'll pickup, but at this time it doesn't look like she's got a whole lot going for her And that makes us sad, she's so beautiful and deserves a great career. Quote
Clauds Posted August 21, 2015 Posted August 21, 2015 SI is a different story, it's a magazine that if you're a hit in it, it opens lots of doors to you, unlike say Maxim (under their old management) and other men's magazines. The Rooselvet's shoot is something she did literally years ago and something she clearly doesn't like and hasn't done anything like that again because that is NOT the kind of attention she wants to drag to herself and Beach Bunny was a brand aimed to women last time I checked and still, it's something she did ages ago when she was about 18 and just wanted to break it in the industry, if you look at her social networks it's pretty clear she is watching what she posts more now than what she used to when she had a smaller following and was just starting over. She's a grown up woman now and she knows what she wants, which is why she decided to change her career path even if some people doesn't like it, the fact is SHE is the one who has to do the jobs and needs to be comfortable with whatever she is doing, so is not hypocrital when what I'm saying it's based on what I know from her, Alexandria decided she wanted to take her career in a different direction and everyone needs to deal with it, wether she'll succeed at it or not only time will tell, she's still young and has plenty of time to make it or go back to commercial work if that's what she wants. But in the mean time, it's really just annoying to come here and read over and over and over again that she's too thin or too this or too that, or looks bad and yadda yadda yadda. And again it is not mismanagement it was her career choice, this is what she wanted and she is happy with it. Quote
CandleVixen Posted August 21, 2015 Posted August 21, 2015 I know I've said a few things here and there about Al's weight, and how small she's gotten. However, when I read that she was really happy with how she was able to sculpt her body to HER desired shape, I backed off about it. She's got a hell of a lot more willpower than I have, so more power to her. I do hope that her career takes off, and we see more of her out there. That's all I've really wanted to see of her too. She is a beautiful young woman and reading her twitter and IG feeds, she's got a good head on her shoulders and a pretty goofy sense of humor. That's always a bonus. Quote
phenobarbie Posted August 21, 2015 Posted August 21, 2015 SI is a different story, it's a magazine that if you're a hit in it, it opens lots of doors to you, unlike say Maxim (under their old management) and other men's magazines. It opens doors yes, but not necessarily to the high fashion career she wants. The girls who have really used to it spring their careers into the next level have gone on to do other commercial work for the most part. Swim wear, commercials, men's magazines. There's vogue in there yes, but only when the girl learns how to market herself so that the world actually gives a shit. If this wasn't mismanagement on her agencies part then she's literally ground her career to almost a stand still. As for us talking about her, and her social media pictures that is what this thread is for. It's not like she has a bunch of work coming out for us to discuss, so instead we talk about what we are given. Oh, and even if it opens doors Sports Illustrated Swim is still a men's magazine.. which according to you, she wants no part of. Little hypocritical don't you think. Quote
