Good critics reviews so far.  wiki:

I've personally ignored almost all the hype for the movie due to the choice of the director and other indicators.  Good news!

I probably have to see it in theaters now..:-p

I could be watching this tomorrow, but I might not and choose the other plans.  I've heard that it's structured a lot like Episode IV.

edit: no, not going for now

Hamil and Fisher both lost a lot of weight for the film- they look better than they've had in years.  Hamil is unrecognizable in the film.  Moral of the story: keep the pounds off or look like shit..

I've watched it. Spoiler free zone of course. It's quite an amazing film. I haven't been a Star Wars fan for years and years. I had seen them growing up but once off. Only recently did I rewatch the originals again to remind me of what happens. And I had only seen episode I and II. Never watched III. So I had a marathon. The original trilogy is a standout of course. And the prequels well they dragged on for me a lot. But this one doesn't drag on. It's just as long as the other ones but the time flies when you're watching it because you're so invested in th story. Definitely better than the prequels. Maybe just below the originals. Hard to say. Lots of nods to the original trilogy which is a nice touch.

Oh and Daisy who plays Rey. She's a star. Absolutely wonderful in this.

I watched it Friday night, and damn it was amazing :chicken: I'm not a HUGE Star Wars fan (not that I don't like them just never really got super into them/seen alot of the movies from start to finish) but by any standards this was a great movie. Action was great, acting was great, awesome story with alot of great little suprises :D

Loved her. She is also so gorgeous couldn't keep my eyes off her during the movie.

SPOILER QUESTION FOR PEOPLE WHO HAVE SEEN THE MOVIE

Spoiler

Who do you guys think Rey is related to? It's clear shes of relation to someone on the force. Hans Solo's daughter? (though they don't mention having another child besides their son in the film ) or maybe Skywalkers daughter? Any theories?
