Natasha's Interview inside Vogue Turkey September 2012

I tried to translate Natasha's article from Vogue Turkey as requested by LucaNatashaFan in the VT thread. The article is quite long so I translated some key points/quotes from Natasha.

"I inherited my bone structure from my mother. We have the identical cheekbones, little nose and wide forehead. I took the light hair and my height from my father. So I'm 80% my mother and 20% my father"

"When you are a new girl with a unique face and a good body, people want you on their runway or campaign. You are instantly popular. But after a while everyone gets used to your face, and that's where your modeling talent and professionalism matters. In this industry, your relationships and connections are essential. You have to be a professional. This is teamwork and it is a fact that a model is only a part of the team. But you can't build an ego on your face and body. If you don't have a work discipline, you'll lose. Modeling is my job, it's my university."

"I have to wake up for a shoot at 5 am, even if I slept at 2 in the morning the previous night. My eyes have to open. More, you have to be productive during the whole shoot. When you start repeating yourself, the shoots begin to get monotonous. You work with a team who assigns you a whole new characterand you have to pay back all the effort that was put into you. Modeling is more than just smiling and posing. I think it is even more difficult than acting, because you have to deliver a messagesimply with your pose and looks. Styling and makeup help you get in the moodbut it is not always that easy to be "that woman"

"I put my health before anything else. So I care more about my health than my body. The rest just follows. The right eating, working out and other things you do for your health are followed by a fit body anyway. You have to be honest with yourself in these matters."

It is saidthat Natasha has met Peter in a New Year's party in Paris and have fallen in love that very night. "If we have cildren, it is guaranteed that they will be tall and blonde." The interviewer tells her that maybe she will give birth to a future supermodels. "why not! Growing up away from your family teaches you to live on your own, stand on your own feet. Thanks to my profession I am more self confident. If my daughter was to become a model, I would give her all the tips. Wouldn't that be cool!"

"I love spending time with my husband. I wish I could cook for him nore often. When I was a little girl my mother taught me some Russian dishes and I still remember some. But do not really get time for cuisine work. Sometimes we don't see each other for more than a week."

The interviewer asks her what Peter thinks about being married to a supermodel. "Honestly, he doesn't treat me like one. Even sometimes when I see some shoots I have done, I'm like wow is this really how i look. Peter is a confident man who is not jealous. Otherwise it would have been difficult, I don't think it is easy to be married to a "supermodel" Peter makes me feel like he thinks he is lucky to be married to me, and I feel lucky to have him."
