Today Figo's foundation All Stars match 2010 in Angola

The Angola press say great players like Romario Taffarel Cafu Frank Rijkard Peter Schmeichel Marcel Decaily Frank de Boer are expected to play for the Figo's friends today.

But why Angola?I think Figo in not looking for more fame in charity matches despite some others,if he was he would do it in more famous countries. He is a true champion

that's a very silly thing to say, this is for charity and to bring awareness for these countries you need to visit them to see for yourself and ask others to join you to fight for them and with them to end their struggles that in this day and age they do not need to be going through. facts/science tells us the human race began in africa so it's the most 'famous' continent to mankind! i'm not having a go, just think first his doing a good deed and they would not be there if they didn't know how much the attention to the causes was important.

Chic,I don't know if you refer to my opinion in your words or not, maybe my english is not so well or if your english is just like me  but I hadn't intention for disrespect against Angola at all.I just wanted to say good thing about Figo and silly or not silly the fact will remain the same;People's desire for travell to a country like Angola for a charity match is less than travel to a european country or others.Yes I agree it's not fair and I wish improvement for them as my hero Luis Figo tried his best for it.Anyway thank you Chic for share your opinion and also for the pics. As you know above photos are related to Figo's visit from SOS Village in Angola before the charity match.Portuguese Reaports that you can read them below say Figo was greeted with dances and songs by the children of SOS Village as Luis described the visit as fantastic experience and also said he felt like a king...

What a humble champion  ,He releases his feeling easy and clearly even towards the children...

I like the photos and the fact that he is active in cases like that. Also, whenever I see him doing charity, he dresses very down to eart, just jeans and a shirt, nothing "bling bling" (yes, I am referring to Mr. Cronaldo). He takes it serious and does not feel the need to show off what a prestige way of living he has. That shows he actually thinks about what he is doing!

Thumbs up for Mr. Figo!
