Legend_figo Posted June 30, 2010 Posted June 30, 2010 I'm agree with you again.Tuesday night we saw a Portugal team which lost against Spain and said good bye to South Africa World Cup 2010.After the game many people criticized C.Ronaldo who was again almost a flop for his national team against Spain and overally during the tournament. It seems that he was criticized more than everyone by Polish people.I have found 2 different Polish articles which attacked Ronaldo. http://www.rp.pl/artykul/501365_Cuda_bez_magii_.htmlCristiano is not Figo and never match,so did not win a place in the hearts of fans. He now feels even greater than the national anthem and yesterday he was not singing, and the decisive moment was the captain, who first leaves the deck. When asked at the cloakroom, what went wrong, just snapped, "Ask Carlos Queiroz," and looked for the shortest path to the exit.... http://sport.interia.pl/felietony/wolowski...-europy,1499931If Xavi,Iniesta played poorly in South Africa, if poorly, what to say about Wayne Rooney or Cristiano Ronaldo? World's most expensive footballer again felt, how hard is the captain's armband inherited from Luis Figo....At the side of his idol Real Madrid star did almost nothing to save the team. Quote
Legend_figo Posted June 30, 2010 Posted June 30, 2010 Figo also crticized Ronaldo which was published like a bomb, maybe because Luis usually defend Cristiano as his compatriot but this time he had different reason: "My notion of what a captain should do is maybe different to other people. But I think the captain, regardless of whether the team wins or loses, always has to defend the group." "In the most difficult moments, it is his job to stand up for the team." Ronaldo was accused of spitting in the direction of a cameraman as he walked off the pitch after the 1-0 defeat at the Green Point stadium and he then told reporters: "You should ask the coach" when questioned about why Portugal had crashed out of the World Cup.... http://www.timeslive.co.za/sport/soccer/ar...s-sulky-RonaldoPortuguese:I think it is the same interview which Hatni made its link http://www.maisfutebol.iol.pt/seleccao/fig...74273-1194.html Quote
GraceGibson Posted July 1, 2010 Posted July 1, 2010 Aside the fact that I never liked Ronaldo, which might make me a little biased, but the fact that I noticed at this WC again is his attitude. I remember people saying "He is a young boy, give him to time to mature." So I waited. Since 2004 I watched him play for Portugal. And I do not see him growing up. He does not lead the team, as I have the feeling he thinks that might take the spot-light off him and maybe to other players. And yes, I also read the whole "spitting thing" I get it that he was pissed off, but as Figo and many others said, it is the job of the captain to hug other players, give them a good feeling, wave to the fans and answer the questions. Casillas went to Eduardo to hug him as he cried... isnĀ“t that the wrong person? I am just dissapointed by him as the new number 7/captain. He is the first to pose in Armani underwear and show off his newly waxed chest, but he is too chicken to answer questions after a defeat?Figo lost the Euro 2004 final, his biggest chance to make his country proud, and even then he managed to talk to the media. Ronaldo? By now I hope people will wake up. Quote
Legend_figo Posted July 1, 2010 Posted July 1, 2010 Helen is the best for Figo. Thank you Chic for the pics, but are those new? Quote

Ronaldo? By now I hope people will wake up.Yes you are right.Ronaldo's attitude is bad but what will make it shameful is the fact that he has done such behavior as the captain of the Portugal national team! He was and still is too young to wear captain's armband for Portugal. Now let's see if Carlos Queiroz has the courage to punish Ronaldo and strip him off the captain's armband !! If it would happen then Ronaldo is free to do what he wants... Quote
Chic_Raul_ista Posted July 1, 2010 Posted July 1, 2010 Helen is the best for Figo. Thank you Chic for the pics, but are those new? yes, they are new Quote
GraceGibson Posted July 1, 2010 Posted July 1, 2010 Thank you, Chic! Helen looks so wonderful once more. I am so happy to see her modeling again more and more as I feel she was doing that less while Figo was still playing. Now she can follow her career a bit more again! Great! Yes you are right.Ronaldo's attitude is bad but what will make it shameful is the fact that he has done such behavior as the captain of the Portugal national team! If it would happen then Ronaldo is free to do what he wants... Oh Figo wasnĀ“t much older when he was wearing thet captains armband for Barcelona... I think with Ronaldo its not the age, its the fact that he simply isnĀ“t made to be captain. He is too self centered and all. He is a living one man show. It starts with the hair, the shoes and all that attitude. I still think that Carvalho would have been the best selection for a captain. Quote
HatniFigo7 Posted July 1, 2010 Posted July 1, 2010 OMG! Helen is very nice in these images. Thanks for your gift!!!!!!!! Have a nice day! Quote

Yes you right again.I almost have forgotten that Figo was captain of Barcelona. Yes Personality of a player is an important factor to be a good captain whether he is young or old.About you idea for probable captain of Portugal "Carvalho",I think it would be a good choice and have found some Portuguese people through their comments who are agree with you... GraceGibson Posted July 15, 2010 Posted July 15, 2010 Wow, that shirts looks surprisingly good! But maybe that is because of the guy holding it? Also I find it really cute how Inter and Figo fit so well together and still are some kind of related. Very good to see after the shit he ate at Madrid, he finally got appreciatedat Inter so much! And hell he does look great! Well, aside of the tie. Thanks for the pics! Quote
