I'm agree with you again.Tuesday night we saw a Portugal team which lost against Spain and said good bye to South Africa World Cup 2010.After the game many people criticized C.Ronaldo who was again almost a flop for his national team against Spain and overally during the tournament.It seems that he was criticized more than everyone by Polish people.I have found 2 different Polish articles which attacked Ronaldo.

Cristiano is not Figo and never match,so did not win a place in the hearts of fans. He now feels even greater than the national anthem and yesterday he was not singing, and the decisive moment was the captain, who first leaves the deck. Figo also crticized Ronaldo which was published like a bomb,maybe because Luis usually defend Cristiano as his compatriot but this time he had different reason:

"My notion of what a captain should do is maybe different to other people. But I think the captain, regardless of whether the team wins or loses, always has to defend the group."

"In the most difficult moments, it is his job to stand up for the team."

Ronaldo was accused of spitting in the direction of a cameraman as he walked off the pitch after the 1-0 defeat at the Green Point stadium and he then told reporters: "You should ask the coach" when questioned about why Portugal had crashed out of the World Cup....

Aside the fact that I never liked Ronaldo, which might make me a little biased, but the fact that I noticed at this WC again is his attitude.

I remember people saying "He is a young boy, give him to time to mature." So I waited. Since 2004 I watched him play for Portugal. And I do not see him growing up.

He does not lead the team, as I have the feeling he thinks that might take the spot-light off him and maybe to other players.

And yes, I also read the whole "spitting thing" I get it that he was pissed off, but as Figo and many others said, it is the job of the captain to hug other players, give them a good feeling, wave to the fans and answer the questions.

Casillas went to Eduardo to hug him as he cried... isn´t that the wrong person?

I am just dissapointed by him as the new number 7/captain. He is the first to pose in Armani underwear and show off his newly waxed chest, but he is too chicken to answer questions after a defeat?

Figo lost the Euro 2004 final, his biggest chance to make his country proud, and even then he managed to talk to the media.

Ronaldo? By now I hope people will wake up.

Yes you are right.Ronaldo's attitude is bad but what will make it shameful is the fact that he has done such behavior as the captain of the Portugal national team! He was and still is too young to wear captain's armband for Portugal. Now let's see if Carlos Queiroz has the courage to punish Ronaldo and strip him off the captain's armband !! If it would happen then Ronaldo is free to do what he wants...

Oh Figo wasn´t much older when he was wearing thet captains armband for Barcelona... I think with Ronaldo its not the age, its the fact that he simply isn´t made to be captain. He is too self centered and all. He is a living one man show. It starts with the hair, the shoes and all that attitude. I still think that Carvalho would have been the best selection for a captain.

Wow, that shirts looks surprisingly good! But maybe that is because of the guy holding it? Also I find it really cute how Inter and Figo fit so well together and still are some kind of related. Very good to see after the shit he ate at Madrid, he finally got appreciatedat Inter so much!
