She's wrong as one can find her annoying based on the over the top writing and the in-congruent acting of Wyattdalores and/or the current development of her character. Quote
jkjk Posted June 1, 2018 Posted June 1, 2018 ^ You are putting more thought into it than I am. I'm just watching a show, and I have no opinions on Evan (or the other actors) outside of that. Quote

I don't know Evan's twitter or the things she use to post but what she said is BS. I hate Dolores for what she does. And because she has no soul or empathy and to me there no differences between her and Wyatt. It's funny how she says we soon forget what she is fighting for. She is fighting for nothing. And she was highly boring before that. Maeva was always the strongest one. Everything started with her and the more she walk among the 'humans" and the jorney towards her daughter, the more she becomes one. Dolores is not a bitch but a monster & her sole purpose is to kill & that's the reason why she is just a psycho fembot . So if you can tweet her that back from me, please be my ... Guest! (lol) Quote

This popped up on Westworld Reddit and it was a loaded comment by Rachael Wood implying that there was something wrong with fans who didn't like her character. (lol) Rachael wood was awesome in S1 (I liked how she started as an innocent, naive girl and developed from there) but in S2 she is awkward. But beautiful, and and the way she wears her dress makes her butt look bigger. I agree with what you said about her being "just" Wyatt. If she was a merging of Wyatt and herself then where is Dolores? It's Wyatt 95% of the time. And Wyatt is annoying. I do agree that Maeve is much more likable. I don't like how she got super-powers though. It seems like a rather contrived plot device. Quote

The need or desire for an actor to defend their character is common. I have heard many actors explain how they have to find something good in a bad character they are playing (there is a better way to describe it, but I can't think of it). I know this is not what you were talking about but it reminded me of this aspect of acting I find interesting. Quote
Cult Icon Posted June 4, 2018 Posted June 4, 2018 yes!!! goddamn I did not want William to die and become a digital program... Quote
Cult Icon Posted June 4, 2018 Posted June 4, 2018 Dolores, Young/old William, and Dr Ford were the four characters that really made S1 for me. I'm happy to see Ford back but sad to see Old william at risk of ending his role in the series soon. It seems like young william is pretty much phased out of the show. They just killed off Angela (In real life, Elon musk's ex girlfriend)- one of the most attractive hosts. based on the trailer, I think she will be back: I like her look (Egyptian woman). Maybe Lawrence will be back but I doubt it. This episode had a lot of quality content the rest of the season looks promising. But so far I enjoyed S1 more; the ideas were fresh and the storytelling was better and less reliant on so much violence. 2 hours ago, jkjk said: The need or desire for an actor to defend their character is common. From there I found that a few years ago, she claimed sexism just to get the same salary as Anthony Hopkins and Ed Harris... never-mind the market value of these two hollywood legends. I haven't seen an actor try to defend their character before, what else comes to mind? Quote

Cult Icon Posted June 5, 2018 Posted June 5, 2018 Teddy's body is floating in the "flood" in episode 1. unless that body is a shell, that means that he's dead. Quote
